add a little more mayo, a little (tsp) sweet pickle relish or 2 slices of sweet pickles minced with a tsp of the juice like i did (no relish) and you will have some great deviled eggs....just like grannys. Thanks Margaret

I made these for my family's reunion in May. Normally, my grandmother is the only one who brings devilled eggs, but this recipe beat hers - WOW! My eggs were all gone before hers. this is a permanent addition to my recipe box!

Absolutely the BEST deviled eggs I've ever had! It's so easy to make, I use this recipe everytime my eggs are about to expire. The only thing I do differently is to add a tsp of relish and cut back on the salt, as others have noted.

I followed the recipe and it was WAY TOO SALTY. I could not even serve these eggs to my guests and I definitely didn't eat them myself. I would suggest a pinch of salt or 1/8 tsp at the most.

I made the receipe exactly as written (doubled it) and didn't have a problem with it being runny or anything. I def liked the eggs. They taste just like what my mom always made!

This recipe calls for way to much salt. I took them to a Labor Day picnic and ended up tossing them.I was so embarrassed and the consistency of the filling is thick not creamy. I was very disappointed.

I didn't use 1/2 teaspoon of salt because of the reviews I had read, I just used probably 1/4 teaspoon, also, too much sugar for us. Will stick with my old way of sweet relish, mayo, sprinkle of garlic salt and pinch of cayenne.

My whole family loves this recipe, especially the kids. I use capers in it in addition to the other ingredients, it balances out things well.
