This is an excellent basic crepe recipe. I have made it at least 10 times now. Easy and fun to experiment with different options. I recommend experimenting with nutmeg, cinnamon, and vanilla in the batter. I recommend nutella & bananas, or fresh fruit and real whipped cream, or lingonberries, or pie filling in the inside. Thank you for this!

My husband used this recipe to make me crepes for Mothers Day. I noticed that the batter was a lot thinner than my original crepe recipe and thought he was in trouble. But this was by far the best dessert crepe I've had in a LONG time. This is now my staple recipe. Adding orange zest to the batter makes a world of difference.

So easy, even I can do it. I see why it's best to let the batter sit. The batter forms more evenly in the pan.

This recipe deserves its 5 stars rating. It's simply perfect and oh-so-easy to make! Texture, taste, and consistency all just like you get at the best French bistros. Thank you for sharing it!

This recipe was so easy and delicious! Like the reviews I read, I added one teaspoon of vanilla and some dashes of cinnamon and it was so yummy!

Don't waste your time making regular crepes for breakfast just because these have the word "dessert" in the title. This is the real crepe.

This was a good recipe, but my crepes turned out pretty spongy. However, I have never had crepes before, so maybe that's what they are supposed to be like, or maybe it was my technique. Overall, the taste was good. I made a chocolate filling and spread it on the crepes and then added some bananas. Yum!

Perfect flavor! This was my first time making crepes, and I heard they're really hard, but making these was no where as hard as I thought. I did put in 1-1/2 TBSP of butter in instead of TSP, but it was really good, so I'd recommend it. That probably helped with the sticking factor, too. Like butta.

I was making crepes for Valentines brunch and I couldn't find my regular recipe.. logged in here to find this one. Turned out perfect! Great batter. I used whole wheat flour instead of white, and substituted Splenda for sugar. Added a spash of real vanilla, and per some of the other suggestions used a little more flour than the recipe called for. Oh, and I did run the mixture through the blender which helped make it extra smooth. Made two types of fillings: First one (photo) was feta, spinach and cherry tomatoes. The seconds one was nutella and bananas with a touch of honey. Yum! Will use this one again for sure!

These were good. You have to eat them when they're hot, though. After about an hour being at room temp. they tasted kind of eggy. But overall, not bad.

This was the BEST crepe recipe I've used (and I've used a lot). My crepes came out looking like a professional made them. I did add one tsp. of Vanilla Extract though, and it was delicious.
