I served this at my gourmet grilled cheese party and it went over very well. We added a bit of garlic powder. 4 stars just because it's a bit thin for a cream soup and it does need a little extra seasoning. :)

LOVE!LOVE!LOVE!!! My additions were- about 2 TBS/each chopped green, orange, and red bell pepper,1TSP minced hot red pepper, 2 cloves chopped garlic, and about 2 TBS. minced celery leaves, plus about 1/2 c chopped steamed carrots leftover from the night before. Garnished with Hormel REAL bacon pieces, and chopped fresh scallion. Thank You SO MUCH for the recipe, it's a keeper!

Reminded me of corn chowder I would get when I was living in Maine! I cooked mine in a slow cooker for about 5 hours today, the potatoes were tender and the flavor was great. Thanks for the recipe :)

Delicious. Added onion powder, garlic powder, a little rosemary, a chicken bouillon cube and some season salt instead of regular salt with the pepper. Really tasty.

yumm yeah it was a little thin so I just added some instant potatoes and we were good - but I don't like my chowders thin at all I like them thick so the thinness I think is a personal taste other than that ---- yummy I'm glad it made alot cos I went back for seconds

I love this. So quick and easy and full of flavor. The only thing I did differently was to put the butter and onion in a separate saucepan and caramelize them before adding them to the rest of the chowder. Two big thumbs up!
