Original Recipe Yield 8 Sloppy Joes

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds ground beef
  • 1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed tomato soup (such as Campbell's®)
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar, or to taste
  • 1/4 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce, or to taste
  • 2 tablespoons distilled white vinegar
  • 8 hamburger buns, split and toasted

Directions

  1. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat, and stir in the ground beef. Cook and stir until the beef is crumbly, evenly browned, and no longer pink. Drain and discard any excess grease.
  2. Stir in the condensed tomato soup, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, and vinegar. Cook and stir until thick, about 5 minutes. Adjust seasoning to taste, and serve on the toasted hamburger buns.
