Ingredients

  • 1 chile pepper, chopped (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon white sugar
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 1 lemon
  • 2 tomatoes, sliced
  • 1 apple - peeled, cored and sliced
  • 1 cup chopped salted peanuts

Directions

  1. In a medium bowl, stir together the chile pepper, salt, sugar, and soy sauce. Squeeze in the juice from the lemon. Add the tomatoes and apple, and toss to coat. Sprinkle the chopped peanuts over the top. Chill until serving.
