I luv this recipe. Use pinto beans instead of kidney, and serve with a dollop of sour cream, some shredded cheddar cheese, and, of course chopped onions.

Very good. I didn't have any tomato sauce so I used a small can of diced tomatoes , some tomato paste and water.

I am a 53 year old man who loves chili. I have only made chili from the recipe that my Mom passed down to me years ago. Since discovering your recipe, I am sorry to say Mom, this is the best chili I have ever tasted. I only use your recipe now. It gets two thumbs up from my family. Thanks Deb.

I have made this recipe several times for my family. The only I do different is use ground Turkey instead of Beef. My family loves it.

I had quit making chili because I wasn't very good at it. Absolutely love this recipe. It is quick, easy, and full of flavor.

My family and I love this chili! I just added my homemade spagetti sauce and i also used Hunt's sauce for chili instead of the regular sauce.

This is our go-to recipe for chili now. YUM! Everyone that tries it loves it, and my family raves about it. The salsa is an excellent touch. I make the homemade chili seasoning from the site also, and it is absolutely delish. Whip it up with some buttermilk cornbread and it's a dinner everyone will love! We serve with sour cream and cheese.

EASY! EXCELLENT! I didn't see the note from Deb about using a specific brand of salsa & chili seasoning until I was already cooking..will try her brand next time.. I used Turkey, generic chili spice and a very nice black bean and corn salsa. It was super easy to make, tasted very good the first day and was beyond fantastic on day two. Especially because it was so easy, this will be one I'll make again!!
