Made this with a 2.5 lb eye of the round roast and fresh mushrooms. Cooked it on low for 6 hours. SPECTACULAR!

This is amazing. I sauted the onions and mushrooms before adding to the pot and I added a half package of Lipton onion soup mix. I already want to make this again, everyone in the family loved it!

My family liked this but I am a little harder to please. Used fresh mushrooms instead of canned, nothing replaces fresh! Otherwise I folowed directions to a tee. I simply like the stove top version better. Yet this got 4 stars because of it's simplicity. Thank you Daria for offering a quick version which I will more than likely use again. If it made my boys happy then I'm happy!

I didn't change a thing with this recipe, and it was jst okay. It seemed a little too bland for me. I'm not giving up on this one, though. I'll try it again with a few recommended changes!

I rate this five stars with a few modifications, which kind of defeat the ease of the original recipe, but I think added to the flavor and consistency. I sauteed the onions and fresh mushrooms before adding them. I omitted the water (based on reviews that it was too soupy), and mixed in two tablespoons of flour with red wine because that is what I had on hand. It came out nice and thick and very tasty!

This was a good recipe. I tweaked it a bit though. I used 1/2 the sour cream and didn't add the wine (don't like the taste). The sauce was not thick enough for me, so I added a bit of corn starch at the end. My husband loved the dish and it has been put in to the family recipe box.

This slow-cooker method combined with the creative use of spices and mushrooms without question , has to be the best stroganoff i've ever tasted.

Good recipe, but I felt it needed more flavor. I added more worcestershire, garlic & a whole onion. Accidentally used fat free mushroom soup & it worked great! Towards the end of cooking I added two capfuls of gravy master for color & flavor as well as cornstarch to thicken. Way too soupy! I served it over garlic butter egg noodles. Delicious!

This is the best and so easy. At first the chives and parsley threw me, but wow are they a great flavor addition to what some think is a bland meal. Excellent. Thank you for the new addition to my menu.

This is by far the best crockpot recipe I have made so far from AllRecipes.com! That is one big compliment, Daria! It was a bit soupy, like other reviewers wrote. So I just added corn starch when I added the sour cream and parsley. It thickened up just perfect. This is also a great way to use London Broil (top round steak) differently than the standard "marinate overnight and grill".
