This is a great salad with lots of taste sensations - strawberries, mandarin oranges, red onions, and tomatoes. The poppy seed dressing is very different; it is made with honey, cherry juice, lemon juice, and mayonnaise.

I make this salad using fresh tomatoes from my garden. The key is to let it marinate and chill for the flavors to blend.

Tomato wedges are tossed with sliced onions and cucumbers, and marinated with a zesty vinaigrette before being presented on a bed of lettuce with a garnish of hard-cooked egg and anchovy. This is a refreshing and colorful salad to display your fresh tomatoes.

This is a great cold salad dish with little preparation time. It has a Greek flair to it and is delicious. I always come home with an empty dish. The key to it is using fresh tomatoes if you have them. Hope you enjoy it as much as we have.
