I made this exactly as the recipe called for it, but it loses points for 1.) using a bottled salad dressing – I hate that weird tangy taste you always get from bottled dressing, 2.) Not enough ramen noodles, and 3.) instructions to marinade. This salad/cole slaw should be crunchy! If it marinades it all becomes much softer. My humble suggestion would be to substitute 1/3 cup red wine vinegar and 1/3 cup oil for the bottled salad dressing, add an extra packet of ramen noodles (oriental, not beef), and toss together the dressing and salad right before serving. It’s still good after it has sat, but it’s best served immediately.
