This is one of my daughter's favorites of the things I make and she is usually a fairly picky eater. My kids like this. My husband seems to think it's a kid's dinner. But we all eat it This is definitely a recipe I will keep and make again. I use shredded cheese because that is what I usually have on hand other than that I make it exactly as called for.

It seems the only way I really like tuna is in a mayo-based sandwich. So I thought this warm, melty sandwich with the variety of flavors was quite good. I love the sweet and the savory in each bite. Like many other reviewers, I didn't find the curry flavor to be strong enough and I did use shredded mozzarella both in the filling and on top of the sandwich.

I am a vegetarian but made this for my hubby who loves curry. He rated it 5 stars and described it as "tuna with a kick." That's about as descriptive as he gets. But he is hard to impress, so with a five star rating, it must be delish!

This was a good recipe. I wouldn't say wow or amazing, but I enjoyed it and will make it again. It is very easy and pretty healthy if you use light mayo. I tried it as is for one of the muffins and with Dubliner cheese for the other one. I liked the cheddar, but I enjoyed the Dubliner much more. (Though I am a huge fan of this cheese.) Thanks for the recipe.

This was great, but next time I will use a little less mayo, much less salt and much more curry!

This was good, but 1/4 tsp of curry powder was almost a negligible amount in my humble opinion. Maybe I'm into curry more than others, but I felt it needed more and, as a result, doubled the amount. Nice and easy recipe that hit the spot, so thank you for posting it!

This was sooooo good. I will make this again and again! I did make some changes due to not having everything. I used dried cranberries instead of raisins and I did not have any celery. I cut down the salt and added extra curry. I also used regular bread instead of english muffins. This is now my favorite way to eat tuna. Would be good with chicken too!

Wow! The fresh crunchiness of the celery, the sweetness of the raisins and the tartness of the lemon really come together great in this recipe and push tuna to another level of goodness. Thanks for the idea! The only reason I am not giving it the ultimate 5 stars is because I cannot taste the curry in there at all. It is very nice as is, but it being a 'curried' tuna melt, I was looking forward to that. A winner for sure, anyway.

Thank you, this was soooo good!! I've never had tuna salad with curry, and was leery at first, so I added it in little by little, tasting as I went along. And I think I ended up adding a bit extra! I have recently lost about 25lbs, and was looking for something a little different to do with tuna. I doubled the recipe and added some chopped sweet onion to the green onion, along with some sliced black olives, the raisins, lemon juice and light mayo. After putting the salad on the toasted muffins I sprinkled them with some shredded cheddar, then some very thinly sliced Roma tomatoes, and topped half of them with more cheddar, and the other half with pepper jack, then broiled till bubbly and garnished with a few more olive slices... They looked beautiful and tasted incredible! The compliments kept coming! This one is a keeper for sure. Thank you for posting such a great recipe!
