Ingredients

  • 1 (15 ounce) can pumpkin
  • 2 cups Market Pantry™ chicken broth
  • 1 cup Market Pantry™ heavy whipping cream
  • 2 teaspoons curry powder
  • 1/2 cup Market Pantry™ salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon Market Pantry™ pepper

Directions

  1. Stir all ingredients. Heat over medium heat until soup starts to boil, about 8 minutes. Remove from heat and let stand 5 minutes before serving.
  2. Ladle soup into bowls. Garnish with a swirl of cream sprinkled with a dash of curry, or a few shelled pumpkin seeds, to make company special.

  • Tip
  • Serve in mugs to guests to enjoy just before coming to the table. Its a good cue that dinner is almost ready.
  • Make the soup a day ahead and reheat in the microwave. It will taste even better.
