good recipe overall, but tasted too much like tomato sauce and not so much like curry. Add veggies! I used broccoli, celery, and green pepper to give this recipe variety.

Thought it was too "tomatoey" and needed more curry powder. Just OK

I signed up for allrecipes just so I could review this! Of several recipes that I've made from this site, this one has been the BEST! I did add a few things that I had laying around, and it added a nice texture to the sauce. I added sliced carrots, diced potato, peas, and broccoli. I will absolutely be making this several more times! Yummm! :)

We LOVE this recipe, which was shared with my by a friend. I make it vegetarian by substituting two packages of Morningstar Farms "Chik'n" Meal Starters or two packages of Quorn "Chik'n" Tenders. I like it with either one, but my husband didn't like how the MSF starters broke apart. This recipe is even better as leftovers!

This was an excellent dish and very easy. I agree with other reviewers in not adding the sugar and it is best the next day or even a couple of days. A new family favourite for us.

Absolutely delicious! I only used half of the tomato sauce after reading everyone else's reviews and it came out perfect!

Needs salt. Might also be good with red peppers.

LOVE IT !!!! I've never made anything with coconut milk in it and this was great!!! Not sure what the one comment about sweetened vs. unsweetened coconut milk was. I got original coconut milk and it turned out great.

I've been trying different versions of chicken curry dishes and so far this is the family favorite. It's got just the right amount of heat and good flavor. Tastes even better the next day! I used hot curry powder, left out the chopped tomatoes (didn't have any), and cut the sugar from 3 to 2 tbls. Thanks!

I'm no curry expert, but in my opinion it was weird for it to taste sweet. The flavour was good otherwise so I'll make it with less or no sugar next time and I'm sure it will be better.

This curry is so super yummy. My family loves it. It's perfect because it's not too spicy. I serve it with some browned coconut on top. Thanks so much!!

Excellent recipe!! I will not change a thing the next time, expect maybe trying sweetened coconut milk...My husband is usually a very picky eater so I was a little unsure about making it. He loved it and went out to get the ingrediants so that I could make it again. I think it is even better on the second day once the chicken has absorbed more of the flavor. Will be making again.

Delicious. Add your own veggies. I spiced it up with cayenne pepper. Jalapenos would be great!!! A keeper!!!

This recipe makes a wonderful chicken. I used Cook Stephanie`s recommendations about curry broth, I used only 1 tbs sugar and it was just to my family taste. Very easy to make and so delicious...

Followed the recipe to the letter, let it simmer nearly an hour until the rest of the meal was ready. My 7-year-old actually had seconds! Thanks for a great recipe that was easy to follow!
