This was a very simple, yet delicious, recipe!! I used fresh broccoli and the rest of a roast chicken that I had made earlier this week. I was out of cream of chicken soup, so I substituted cream of mushroom. Finally, I did not add any salt and I used a whole teaspoon of curry (and it was not overpowering at all). It took a little persuading to get my 3 year old to try it, but she did tell me she "loved" it, in the end. I will definitely be using this recipe again.

I have been making something close to this for years. Should try half the cheddar and add velveta cheese. Also good over potato's.

Apart from nuking bacon, I don't really use my microwave to actually cook - I prefer to bake and broil so that the food gets bubbly and crispy/browned on top. I made this with fresh cooked broccoli and cauliflower plus the chicken. I mixed everything together (added a bit of ground coriander and garlic powder), spread it into a glass baking dish, sprinkled with extra sharp Cheddar, then baked it for about 25 mins at 375f. Added a little more cheese then broiled for about 5 minutes. We definitely preferred the cauliflower/curry flavor over the broccoli/curry. This is a good recipe - easy and inexpensive. Thanks, Esther!

Make this dish! This was WAY better than I expected. I just had some leftover grilled chicken breast and a bunch of broccoli, and I was looking for something to do with them. This surpassed my expectations. I did not use the microwave. I baked it for 40 mins in the oven at 350. We like curry, so I used 1 tsp. It was also a pretty dish. Upload a picture and get this simple recipe the attention it deserves! Thanks.

Another great way is to layer everything. You put the cooked rice in the bottom, broccoli, chicken then sauce. Add some cheese to the sauce mix and then add some on top. I just make a great casserole out of it!

Ok I just made this the way that Adam M suggested-- and it is WONDERFUL!!! But as far as the original recipe goes, I gave it a 4 because I had to change it up so much to be so good. But really, I know I should try it the way it's written before I review it, so I will do that next time around. Adam M should submit his recipe to the site to be published. It is just amazing, everyone should try it!

Made this recipe, husband raved about it. Used it as a filling for a cresent braide. Changes I made were to sautee one onion diced and two cloves of garlic together. sprinkled sliced chicken with salt, pepper, and curry then sauteed. Added broccoli. I saved cheddar cheese as a topper for braide simply because I forgot to add it to the mix, which actually may have saved the mix from being too runny. After precooking everything on the stove top added canned soup and mayo then used mixture as filling for the cresent braide. It makes enough filling for two braides or one overstuffed braide.(used two packages of premade cresent rolls for one overstuffed braide.) Suggest four packages for two smaller braides. Will definately make again

Good and easy Recipe! I loved that it's done in the microwave especially on warm summer evenings. Used a little less lemon juice and a big tablespoon of curry powder. Also added some black pepper and garlic powder. My husband really liked it and we will definitely have it again!

This is a good version of Chicken Divan. I made a few changes - I browned the chicken first, and doubled the mayo and cheese. Very good.

OK, I gave it five stars the way I make it. All the right ingredients but take the chicken, and sauté it in curry and butter first. Cook it quite well, and get some of it to brown up abit. Curry smell WILL permeate the house, but in a good way. 8o) Also up the Lemon juice, double it or so. Do add some milk too to thin it down so it seeps down into the nooks and crannys of the dish. (I think that's the first time I ever typed "nooks and crannys" in my life!) Place the chicken in the baking dish, then the Broccoli, (Fresh is way tastier, but frozen is cheaper and easier, also, no Microwave, just toss it in it'll be fine). Next pour the sauce mixture over that. Toss it all in the oven, covered for like 1 hour at 350. Remove from oven and top Liberally with crushed "White Cheddar Cheese-Its" and shredded White cheddar cheese. Now to crisp up the top, toss it under the broiler til it browns-up. Besure to watch it like a hawk! It can turn on you fast. Serve on top of the Rice, and you will have many happy campers in your house that night. Also, have some good white wine with the dish, something abit more acidic/crisp to balance the rich creamy goodness that is chicken broccoli.

This was very delicious! I used a Japanese blend of veggies instead of only broccoli. I doubled the amount of curry and veggies but should have used a teaspoon of curry. I simmered it on the stove covered for 20 minutes instead of using the microwave. I cooked the chicken in extra virgin olive oil sliced into thin strips.

This recipe is super good with the following changes: don't microwave! Turns chicken to absolute mush. Instead, bake in the regular oven covered with foil at 375 for 45 minutes, or until the top is golden brown. I like it best topped with bread crumbs that have been tossed in a little melted butter before baking.

I pan fried the chicken in oil and poultry seasoning, and then I added 1/4 c. toasted almonds to the soup mixture and another 1/4 c. to the top with the cheese. I baked at 350 until everything was heated through. Made great leftovers too!

I baked this in the over for 25 minutes at 350. I never bake anything in the microwave; it's for reheating only. This was creamy and very rich even though I used less mayo than the recipe called for. I also added more curry - 1/4 t. just wouldn't impart any flavor. I added a couple tablespoons, and it tasted great.
