Great taste! I went to make it according to the recipe, and found I had no rice. I used buckwheat groats instead. Delicious! I will be making this again!

I had high hopes for this recipe- the ingredients sounded great- but I ended up not serving it because I didn't think anyone would like it.

This salad is incredibly delicious. I prefer a creamier salad, so I doubled the amount of mayonnaise and yogurt. I used sunflower seeds instead of the nuts because it was all I had at hand, and it was gorgeous! Be careful not to over do the onions, though.

This tastes so good! It is my first try at a cold rice dish, and delish! I did alter it slightly for my taste: I put about half the curry powder and used celery instead of onion. I also added chopped parsley. Will make again.

Great mix of flavors. I used couscous instead of rice and didn't have nuts or onions on hand. I added chickpeas and only used yogurt, not mayo. A wonderful healthy lunch. Really good!

I did not care for the way this looked or the mushy taste. I love all of the ingredients, but they just didn't work for me.

We love this salad. In fact I just got requests for the recipe from three people! We're not onion lovers, and it's still zesty without them! Make it. Try it. Love it!

I was at a relatives house for a 65th Birthday Party when I realized she didn't have enough food for the crowd they had invited. I logged onto allrecipes.com and popped down to the local grocery store for the ingredients for a triple batch of this salad. It all disappeared. I spent a large portion of the evening writing down the recipe for guests. I wouldn't change a thing, it was excellent. It was easy and made with ingredients I almost always have on hand. It is an excellent accompaniement to grilled meats, particularly chicken. Make it and enjoy!

I make a chicken curry dish that I just love and a lot of the ingredients are the same. I find it unfair when people give less than five stars, but have changed the ingredients; they're making a different recipe! With that said, I, too, changed some ingredients. Too lazy to chop an apple, I keep single serving applesauce containers on hand; that is what I replaced the apple with. I wasn't sure whether or not I should saute the onion, so I did, after I toasted the almond pieces. Rather than using mayo, I used just the plain no fat yoghurt (1/2 cup). Even with all of these changes, the sweet of the raisins and applesauce offsets the curry in a marvelous melding of flavors. Well worth cooking extra rice for dinner the night before! This would make a great packed lunch and I'm always looking for ideas. Yum.
