I made this with chicken breast (we're not brown meat people) and it was fantastic! I also added some garlic and was a little more liberal with the worcestershire sauce. The only thing I would change would be to add a little more salt. My husband said the mixture of apple and cumin gave it a curry flavor. 1/2 a cup of water is perfect, I wouldn't want the sauce any thinner.

This turned out alright. I'm sure it would have turned out if I followed the recipe exactly but I didn't have certain items in the recipe. I didn't use any mushrooms, I used peaches instead of apples, and I used zuccini instead of onions. Zuccini is great with this recipe, I would definately stick with the apples though. Peaches were a little weird. This is very good though, there's not too much cumin taste. Very good chicken. Also, I used a can of chicken gravy instead of cream of mushroom. VERY VERY good sauce

This was EXCELLENT! Made as listed. My husband LOVED it! It was not bland at all as some other folks listed. Served over rice along with a salad!

This recipe was fair... not bad, not great. I would consider making again if there were nothing else available, but it would not be my first choice. On the bright side, it was fairly easy though!

This was a pretty good recipe. Better than I expected. I followed the advice of another review by adding a little more water so that the sauce wasn't too thick. My husband liked it and he can be a picky eater so I'm glad it turned out to be a good one!

fantastic! My 4 year old son "helped" me make this, and all my kids thought it was great to have apples in there. I did put in a heaping teaspoon of chopped garlic when I was cooking the apples/onions and I ran out of cumin so I put in 1/2 T of cumin and 1/2 T. of paprika, and it turned out great. Thanks so much!

Made the dish according to the recipe. Nice combination of salty and sweet. I would make again and not deviate from recipe.

It was ok. I wouldn't make it again though because my husband hated it. The appearance of the finished product was not very appealing either.

I really liked the flavor of this dish. I think it would be great using pork chops as well. The sauce was a bit thick for me, more like a gravy, so I'll probably thin it out a bit next time.

This recipe absolutely rocked. I used fresh mushrooms and garlic as well. For something as ordinary as chicken legs, this recipe makes the meal completely extra-ordinary. Everyone at the table loved it. A toal keeper, Thanks!!

Tasty! Will make again. I used fresh mushrooms and sauteed them until they "sweated" most of their water out before adding the apples and onions (and 2 garlic cloves). I also used 1 T butter and 1 T EVOO, instead of 2 T butter. I sprinkled the chicken with paprika after browning and omitted the chili powder (for my mom). My parents really enjoyed this! Thanks!
