This was OK. I think the recipe was fine, the cubed steaks just weren't our thing.

My wife made this last night. She subbed in grated cheese instead of slices, Italian bread crumbs and jar sauce. I'm really looking forward to the next time we have it!

This is a nice change for cube steak instead of chicken fried. Thanks!

Simple and delicious!! I did not have saltine crackers, but I did have some Cheese Nip crackers. They did very well and I also used shredded cheese instead of slices. Thanks for sharing your recipe.

The first time I made this recipe, I couldn't find cube steak and used sirloin cut into strips instead... And I didn't like it at all - the breading was SO nasty and greasy, and it sank into the tomato sauce. I did, however, top the dish off with left-over cracker crumbs mixed with cheese, and I really liked that. Then I found cube steaks and made it again. I really can't say it made much difference - I just really dislike the texture and oiliness of the breading. Ah well. Thanks anyway!

This is an easy, quick and tasty meal. To cut down on time, I used a jar of spaghetti sauce. Also used shredded cheese instead of slices, because that's what I had in the fridge. I've tried this recipe with the cracker crumbs and I've also done it replacing the cracker crumbs w/ bread crumbs and I like it both ways. Served it with corn, rotini pasta and garlic bread.

My family loved this dish I served it with noodles. I did not have mozzerella cheese slices so I used provalone and it was GREAT!

Cheap and easy to make. My family and friends loved it. I will try seasoned breadcrumbs instead of the saltine crackers for more flavor next time.

This recipe is so-so. I chose to prepare it with chicken instead. It would be good served over some spahgetti.

This was a terrific, tasty way to serve the dozen or so cube steaks we got with our 1/4 cow purchase last summer!
