This is very much like a recipe in South Beach Diet except that one calls for individual ones. This larger one is much more convenient, easier to make--and delicious. Very low in carbs! I didn't have a pie pan so used a square cake pan and it came out perfect.

Great quiche recipe! I used 4 egg whites and 3 whole eggs, next time I'll try 6 egg whites and 2 whole eggs. I used almost the whole 3 cups of cheese. Thanks!

I had added left over sauted bellpepper and I think that was a mistake. If I make this again I will add tomatoes instead of bellpepper.

Delicious & easy to make. I loved the savory flavor & never had a quiche hold together so well. I did modify the ingredients because my husband & I need to lower our cholesterol. I used egg substitute instead of eggs & 2 cups of reduced fat Mozzarella cheese in place of the Muenster.

Very good and a healthy lunch for the week. I added low fat feta cheese, and sauteed mushrooms with the onion. I then put the mix in greased muffin tins and had these little treats all week! Yum!

I love quiche recipes and this one was very good. Like others, I added red pepper, some tomato, ham bits, and more cheese. Being crustless, the calories were reduced.

I gave this 5 stars because it's versatile, easy and delicious! I like that it's crustless and it goes together with whatever you have on hand. I browned my onion in butter instead of oil and added fresh spinach. I used Muenster and a part of a purchased bag of shredded cheeses. Excellent!

I've tried a lot of recipes on this site and this quiche is at the top of my favorites list! Two ironies: 1) I was never a big fan of quiche before now. 2) I modified it to make it lower in fat... usually doing this makes it taste less than amazing, but not the case here. I calculated the ingredients to 9 servings because I had a 16 oz bag of frozen spinach on hand and wanted to use it all. Instead of using the 4 1/2 cups of muenster cheese, I used 2 cups of shredded reduced-fat pepper jack cheese, 1 cup lowfat cottage cheese, and 1/2 cup parm cheese. I also added broccoli (2 stalks, no stems) and about 4 oz of chopped mushrooms. Like others recommended, I scooped most of the mix into a muffin tray. There was some mixture leftover so I baked it in a tiny casserole dish. Everyone loved it!

This was a GREAT recipe. DH raved about it. I added 2 chopped bacon strips and sauteed the onion and spinach in some of the fat, which added great flavor. I also threw in some chopped tomato since I had garden surplus. I used lowfat cottage cheese and sharp cheddar. FABULOUS results! Definitely a winner!

This was very good and easy. I only used about 3 cups of whatever leftover shredded cheese I had - mozarella and cheddar. I used a bag of fresh spinach - put that in the pan with the onion after it was cooked, covered it and drained as much liquid out as possible. Then mixed about 1/3 cup of panko breadcrumbs with enough olive oil to moisten and spread that on top.

All the reviews are right - perfect basic recipe that you can make your own. This gets 5 stars AS IS and it can even be better! The second time I made this I added bacon and omitted the oil (and cooked the onions in the bacon greese). I also added 2 more eggs (most people say add one, but I went off of consistency. Enjoy, be creative and have fun! :)

This was great and very tasty. I adapted some suggestions from previous reviews such as using 2/3 of the spinach, adding tomatoes and using 2 whole eggs plus 1 cup of egg whites. Will definitely make again.

This is quite tasty. One suggestion, not to cook more than 20 minutes. A half an hour would have destroyed this.

This recipe is great! I made them in muffin tins filled 3/4 full to make single servings then freeze and pop in microwave in the morning..sooo good! I used the muenster chz perfect blend of flavors (also added just a little sweet pepper for color and added flavor). This is a great way to get protein and vegtables first thing in the morning. Hubby loves them too.
