Awesome. I used dry cranberries, and I know with fresh these would have been better. They were STILL fantastic, though, great recipe!!!!

So easy and delicious. Everyone asks for the recipe and everyone loves it. I make it without nuts and I only use one cup of cranberries, but cut them in half to spread the flavor around a bit. Other than that, no changes. Yummy!

Everytime I have made this I have been asked for the recipe. Not to mention not a crumb left on anyone's plate. IThe first time I made it was on Christmas day for those who do not like Christmas pud. Most people had both!

My fiance's favorite! I used 1/2 teaspoon almond extract and 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract as well as 1 teaspoon orange juice and a little zest of orange peel. As per other reviewer, I made it with a brown sugar/walnut topping (1/4 cup walnuts, 1/3 cup brown sugar, 2 tablespoons butter, 2 tablespoons flour mixed together)

Delish and so easy. More like a snack cake, though that might have been because of my changes. I used all whole wheat flour, 3/4 c honey instead of the sugar, substituted half the butter for plain yogurt and almonds instead of walnuts. I baked in a square cake pan, since I didn't have a pie pan. It only took 35 minutes for me. Very tasty!

Sooo yummy! I love the tartness of cranberries and this "pie" (really cake) is the perfect balance. I used a 12 oz. pkg of fresh cranberries that I had frozen when I didn't use them, so it may have been more than 2 cups, I didn't measure them.

I love this recipe, so versatile. I usually squeeze a little fresh orange juice into the batter and add a little rind when I make it with cranberries. I made it today with fresh strawberries and chopped almonds....deeeeelish!

The "pie" itself if super- loved the flavor. My only complaint was that the cranberries were so tart they just didnt go well with the batter. I will use blueberries next time and I think it will be a super combo. You cant ask for a simpler unusual desert.

When made with fresh cranberries this is the VERY best quick bread or cake I have tasted lately. Everyone wanted the recipe when I made it at Christmas. I tried it with reconstituted dried berries and it was edible, but not so good. Stick to the fresh berries and enjoy.

This was too tart for me. I used fresh cranberries, and maybe they weren't good ones? I tried to eat the pie because I didn't want it to go to waste, and it was edible, but I won't make it again. It's also a bit misleading to call it a pie. It's more like a cake.

More like a sweet & tart coffee cake! Made a few changes...used all whole wheat pastry flour, frozen cranberries, half almonds/half walnuts, orange zest, Smart Balance, and added a splash of soy milk because the batter was too dry when mixing. Served with soy vanilla ice cream. The pie was drier on the bottom and sides, but the cranberries floated to the top and center, which was very moist.

I love this recipe. I made this at my restaurant as a weekly special and it quickly became a regular menu item. The only thing I do differently is double it so that the slice I serve is larger. It's wonderful...a little crunchy on the top and moist inside. 5 stars!!!!
