Original Recipe Yield 1 - 1.5 pound loaf
 

Ingredients

  • 1 1/3 cups water
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 3 tablespoons butter, softened
  • 1 cup bread flour
  • 2 cups whole wheat flour
  • 1/2 cup rye flour
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons dry milk powder
  • 3 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons bread machine yeast
  • 1/2 cup wheat and barley nugget cereal (e.g. Grapenuts TM)

Directions

  1. Place the ingredients in the pan of the bread machine in the order recommended by the manufacturer. Select whole wheat setting and press Start.
