I don't like this tuna filling, so I just made my usual with mayo, dill, mustard, and parmesan and made them in the potato chip encrusted biscuits. I like the biscuit with crunch.

I have to say that I wasn't impressed with these turnovers, but my tuna mix was pretty good. The b/f doesn't like lemon-pepper OR olives, so I used some minced onion and season salt instead (its what I used when I make regular tuna). I used the ritz crackers instead of chips as well. I had a little tuna left over, and my turnovers seemed to be a little overstuffed. **Side note: if you pay attention to the "oz's" on tuna cans now-a-days, they've downsized to 5oz instead of 6oz and they charge the same price!** I might try this recipe again, but not for a while, and when I do, I'll use a puff pastry instead of refrigerated biscuits and no outer covering.

I found that I used the smaller biscuits and it held hardly any tuna mix. But they were perfect size for the little kids. The 1 and 4 yr old ate 5 between them!!

These were okay for us...everyone ate them but no one was begging me to make them again! I did use crushed crackers to "healthy" them up a bit and light Miracle Whip with relish insead of olives-I already had some open. The flavors were good and the kids liked how easy they were to eat and it was a good way to get tuna into them (they aren't big fans). The hubby thought they would be tasty with ham instead of tuna-I may try that! I actually liked them better the next day!

although I love tuna I did not like these. However, I had made the "BBQ Pork for Sandwiches" the day before and used leftovers for 1/2 the sandwiches & these were delicious!

These were a hit! I didn't have canned biscuits on hand, so I made my own. I was out of olives. Other than that, I made as directed. These are a great change to the normal tuna sandwiches. Will certainly make again. Thanks for sharing!

These were pretty good, but I used canned crab instead of tuna fish. I also omitted the olives and lemon pepper. Other than that, I followed the recipe and they came out great, except they weren't very good the next day. I wouldn't suggest eating the leftovers - with crab meat, anyway.

I did not have the olives or lemon pepper so I used capers and dill relish. I could not bring myself to eat them warm so I cooled them and took one to work for lunch. I will be making these again. Next time I will use Miracle Whip so I can freeze them. It will be nice to have them on hand for a quick lunch.

What a clever way to serve tuna sandwiches. I used jumbo buttermilk bisquits and rolled the turnovers in crushed cornflakes instead of potato chips since so many reviewers said the chips made it too salty. The cornflakes added the perfect crunch. Next time I might add some chopped pickles in the tuna or a sprinkle of curry powder for a kick. But this was so easy to make and very versatile - - you could make all kinds of turnovers by changing the filling!

This is a great recipe! I didn't have any potato chips so I used cornflakes to coat half of them and when I ran out of the cornflakes, I used crushed saltine crackers. Both were very tasty! If you do use potato chips, try to find some unsalted ones since the recipe is already naturally salty. Hopefully they're good left over. We'll find out tomorrow.

The lemon pepper was too much for my taste buds and I didn't coat them due to personal preference. Hubby asked why I put black olives in it but he LOVED them and ate 3 himself. I ate one for lunch today, cold, and it was great! Thanks!

This was really good and really easy! I accidently had the oven temp on 400 instead of 375 which made the biscuits a little brown but otherwise I really like it. I will definitely make this again.

Freakin goooood! I used those grand biscuits and they came out so fluffy and delicious. I can see that using this recipe as a basis for others would work well too. I can't wait to try cordon bleu or something using the same idea.

This is good, and the mayo makes this very moist. I think adding relish or a dash of curry would've enhanced its flavor. Since everyone said this was too salty with chips, I did this without any coating. I think the biscuit adds enough salt. Next time I'll do a turkey/cheese stuffing.

Super yummy, quick, and easy! Great starter recipe since there are plenty of things we can think of to use the crunchy biscuit idea, I would love to try it with chicken salad. I barely had the ingredients needed, so I had to sub the egg for milk and the chips for Rice Krispies cereal and it was still really good, but anxious to try with the right ingredients. I did cut the biscuits in 1/2 like another review suggested, think it would made them too heavy using whole biscuits. Will make these again and again! Thanks for the great recipe!

These really went over well with my family. (recipe stores well too) I used Sour Cream and Cheddar chips -very pretty. I feel obligated to say these were salty. If salt is not for you try a no-salt chip for the coating. The filling was very good. The olives are a must in this recipe very complimentary to the dish. I used colby jack cheese and used a little more than the recipe called for (and doubled the lemon pepper). I've done this recipe both ways by splitting the biscuits or using a whole biscuit for each turnover. The filling is more noticeable when the biscuits are split.

I really enjoyed these (as did my bf!) However, I left out the olives (I just really don't like olives), and I used two smaller biscuits to make a larger one. Additionally, I used crushed ritz crackers instead of potato chips(didn't have any on hand.) They were good, but I wish they had a little more zest, which next time I'll use more lemon pepper. The ritz added a really nice crunchy texture, but gave it a different taste than the chips. (More bready.) And, they were fun to eat and looked great. =) update: I have made these a couple times and have finally perfected it to my liking! I double the amount of lemon pepper to 1/4 tsp, and it adds a lot more zest to the taste. I've used many different crunchy things on them, and so far our favorite has been... crushed up pretzels! My least favorite has been the potato chips- i just feel they make the turnover too salty. Mmm..
