I substituted romaine lettuce for the iceburg, and every bite of this salad disappeared both times I made it. Delicious!

I'd forgotten how little I cared for iceberg lettuce. This was a tasty, light, simple salad that goes nice with a heavy main dish. I will use my standard romaine hearts next time. The dressing was good.

This is SOOOOO good! I made it and took it to a church lunch and it was GONE very quickly. The dressing alone is fabulous. I've used it on a spring mix salad instead of Iceburg and it's very good. I've also made the dressing with Splenda instead of sugar to pare down a few calories. This is a keeper for sure.

Prefer with Asian-style dressing rather than recipe dressing (too sweet).

I usually do not use a new recipe on someone until I tried it first. However, I just took a chance and made it for guest. I got great reviews and everyone wanted seconds. I made the recipe just as called for and have made it again already. Even my kids liked it. That's saying a lot. lol Anyways, great recipe, thanks for posting.

Excellent! The only changes I made was I used Splenda instead of sugar in the dressing and I used pre-packaged "real" bacon bits. This will become a regular at our house.

I made this last night and can't stop thinking about how good it was. I may make it again tonight. This will now be a family favorite! I do wish that the Nutritional info was given, however, as I fear this dressing is a calorie nightmare. I did use turkey bacon to cut back on the fat a bit and it tasted great in this recipe.

I've been making this salad for years when I want something special and different. My family loves it - even those who are not big salad eaters. Kids gobble it up because it doesn't have any "icky" veggies in it! The crunchy toppings mixed with the sweet dressing is super yummy.

Just ok - it may have tasted better with a different dressing. It was nice and crunchy, but too much sesame seed flavor also.

This was delicious Deborah. I tossed in any leftover I could find in the fridge. Chicken, asparagus, hard boiled eggs and broccoli. The noodles and the nuts gave it great texture and a nice crunch. Served it with garlic bread. YUM and thanks!

Excellent as is, great tasting, looks wonderful in the bowl and has great texture to add to a side dish. Be sure to cook the bacon just right so that it is crunchy. Thanks

Crunchy and delicious! I added some sliced carrots to add a little color. This was a hit at a recent potluck gathering! I will definitely make this again!

I made this salad for a birthday party and thought it turned out well. I made it exactly as the recipe stated though it seemed like it was missing something. Still, it was pretty good and definitely easy to put together.

This is one of the best salads I have ever had. We gobbled up in no time. The only thing different I did was add ramen noodles instead of chow mein noodles. It is the best and so easy to make. I am making it for our family christmas. Thanks for sharing the recipe
