I liked it, but the rest of the family thought it still needed something. They thought the rice part is what was so bland. I will make it again, but will season the rice part.

This was pretty darn good! I had leftover tri-tip, so I diced it and used it in place of the hamburger. Kids liked it, too. This will be a permanent addition to my casserole recipe box!

This was a good recipe, but I wouldn't split the meat into 2 dishes, or it seems to sparing for a dinner for 4, and WAY too much rice. I added a can of kernel corn to this and we enjoyed it very much.

Yummy! Quick and easy when you need a dish to throw together. I used 96% fat free beef, brown rice, skim milk, 2% cheese and healthy request soup to cut calories and make a little healthier. I also used the french fried onions on top as someone else had posted since I didn't have any corn flakes. (Of course, I used sparingly!) Kind of tastes like stuffed peppers. Thanks for sharing!

I usually make a casserole that calls for cream of mushroom and cream of chicken. I had no cream of chicken so I searched and found this, it is very good and can be easily modified making this a great recipe for when your pantry is not well stocked. I added a clove of garlic to the meat and cut up pieces of block cheese since I was out of shredded cheese. I also added the soup-cheese mix to the rice before topping the meat. I was out of corn flakes so I had potato chips or crackers to choose from for the topping and picked the crackers. My picky kids and husband all loved it.

I actually thought this was pretty good. It served its purpose of being easy, quick, and tasty. You probably can't call it healthy and it is not gourmet, but it made us happy! I would definately double the ketchup next time. Having used sharp cheddar it was quite somewhat salty and quite savory and could have used the balance of more sweet ketchup.

I don't eat this type of meal, but my husband LOVES this dish, and that's enough for me to give it five stars. I also love it because most of the ingredients are items I usually have on hand, and it really is very easy to make. Great recipe!

Followed the recipe but used whatever I had in such as cream of asparagus soup, ground turkey, Colby cheese and soy sauce instead of worcestershire. Still turned out great!

We enjoyed this dish. I added more rice to make it go farther with my family and then made more of the soup mix to put on top. After adding the soup, I pushed a fork into the rice in several places, so the soup would seep into the rice more. It worked well. Next time I will use more ground beef and add more ketchup and mustard to the meat mix. I also used red pepper instead of the green. I liked that this dish had a different flavor than what we are used to. Thanks! I love finding new recipes to change our usual menu.

This was really good. Im usually turned off by dinners with cream soups in it but this was pretty darn good. i added a bit more ketchup in the meat (i might add more next time also) and i just mixed the rice in with the soup/cheese mixture and put on top. Very yummy and my husband was actually impressed!
