this is yummy! i didn't have red onion, so i used scallions, and it's still good. i also cut back on the mayo just a little, but that's just personal preference. i tasted it just made, but have stuck it in the fridge for a few hours, and i bet it'll be even better.

I didn't have any water chestnuts on hand. I used walla walla onion instead of red, and I added crumbled bacon. Very delicious.

I only used frozen peas and water chestnuts that I chopped up to match the pea size. Lessened the sauce since I left out three veggies and tossed to coat. Really tasty, fast side!

I found this pretty disappointing - loved the idea but it just didn't turn out great for me, and I followed the recipe exactly. Just didn't have great flavor, IMO. Won't be making again.

Delicious. Didn't have radishes, used small sweet peppers, and left out the onion hoping the kids would eat it (no such luck - they picked the peas out though...). Added about 4 Tbs. cider vinegar and 2 tsp. sugar to thin the dressing. Will make it again, and hopefully will have radishes next time.

We thought this was pretty bland, especially the non-pea salad eaters. Didn't use as much water chesnuts and still thought there was too many. Loved the radishes, red onion and dill though.
