Oh my goodness, so good!! I couldn't find ice cream bricks anywhere, so I just bought a half gallon in a box, pulled the sides of the box away from the ice cream, and sliced it that way. Very easy! Be careful to work fast once the ice cream hits the air. It melts fast, and I had to work faster than it was melting to keep from a really big mess! Making this again many times in the future!!!

These are even better with Cocoa Krispies! Also try using the Fruity Pebbles mixed half with the regular Krispies for a wonderful sweet treat! I haven't tried that mixture with the peanut butter yet, but they are great made with the marshmellows and then frozen with the ice cream! I made some and hid them in the freezer hoping to have them later this week and the kids and their friends found them and devoured them all:)

I had these as a kid, too, and I was thrilled to find the recipe! They are great & a big hit at my house. Next time, I think I will make the rice krispies layer thinner. I may also add a layer of melted semi sweet chips & butterscotch chips inside near the ice cream - like scotcheroos. thanks for the great summer recipe!
