so darn good! Easy to make - a little time consuming, but well worth it! I had someone ask for their birthday request already - for next March (it's only April).

These are delicious! I made as written, but only needed about 2.5 cups of chocolate to cover the balls.

I doubled the filling recipe and made half as directed with the semisweet chocolate and half with vanilla almond bark. I must say the almond bark ones were WONDERFUL and the semisweet ones were just okay. I felt the semisweet chocolate overpowered the other ingredients. I will definitely make them again using almond bark.

I think this recipe is "good"; my roommate thinks it is "great". Although the final product is pretty yummy, making these eggs is much harder than the other reviews let on. After heating the peanut butter/brown sugar/cereal mixture, it is incredibly hard to transfer to the wax paper and form into balls. The cereal mixture will start hardening to the pan fairly quickly so you need to transfer it as soon as you can, and once you do its almost easier to chill the tray in the fridge for 10 minutes before forming into eggs (otherwise it's way too sticky). In melting the chocolate, I used butter instead of shortening, but I'd keep the amount of butter and cut the chocolate in half. Even half wasn't needed. The chocolate was thicker than expected so it was difficult to dip the eggs in without creating a huge gob of cholcoate. Overall, the result was nice...but I'm not sure effort was entirely worth it for a "quick" dessert.

These were yummy and crunchy. Hubby liked better than the plain PB and rice crispy ones. I used Almond bark vs choc chips and it worked well.

Excellent recipe...few additions...i found myself needing more chocolate and nearly used almost 2 bags! and i halfed the recipe. I only used rice krispies instead of nuts and corn flakes. I also used Honey Nut Peanut Butter made by Jif. Flavor is outstanding. I even made a colorful glaze with confectioners sugar and dribbles of water added with pastel dye and laced them over the eggs for an egg-stra Easter touch. Thanks for a good keeper recipe.

These were really fun. We did change things up a little, use a little more of each cereal and drop the nuts. 2nd time, used white chocolate and almond butter for the peanut butter. Kids loved doing them.

I made this with my 4 year old granddaughter Hannah, and they turned out great. A little messy, but that's what made it fun to do with her. There is someone at her preschool that has a nut alergy, so we are going to make another batch and use marshmellows in place of peanut butter and nuts. Making this treat was a great addition to our Nannie and granddaughter sleepover.

These eggs were definitely quick and easy to make, and extremely rich! I couldn't finish one small egg without a hugh glass of milk. I liked the crunch that the cereals and nuts added but still a little too rich for me. My husband thought they were excellent. I used Bakers brand semi-sweet chocolate in the box and had great results. The eggs covered well and had a nice smooth and glossy look when finished. I only made half a recipe and one eight ounce box was plenty.
