Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup dry bread crumbs
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 4 large baking potatoes, peeled and halved lengthwise
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  2. In a small shallow bowl, mix bread crumbs, paprika, salt, dried basil, dried oregano and pepper.
  3. Brush potato halves with melted butter, and roll in the bread crumb mixture to coat.
  4. Arrange potato halves in a medium baking dish. Bake 1 hour in the preheated oven, or until tender.
