Very Yummy! I added some bread crumbs and italian seasoning in with the potato flakes.

I would give this recipe a 5 but the bottom of the chicken was soggy. The taste was good. I did have to cook it for about 8 minutes longer than the recipe said, but I think that is because all chicken pieces are different. All in all this recipe is a keeper.

I use panko bread crumbs instead of potato flakes. Get them in the asian section of the grocery store. They don't get mushy; they stay nice and crunchy. Also, add some paprika and italian seasonings (basil, parsley, thyme, oregano, etc.) as mentioned by other users... it's better that way.

Tip: Use a cookie sheet, line the bottom with foil and then place a cooling rack on top of the cookie sheet. The breaded chicken goes on the cooling rack for baking. It will prevent your chicken from getting a soggy bottom.

I made this and it was far from crispy chicken. We didn't even eat one breast and threw out the rest. I did bake on rack as someone suggested.

The flavor was so-so. My chicken, however was so moist that everything was so soft, not crispy at all. I even used a pan with a rack to keep the drippings away from my chicken. That texture of mush on my chicken was not appealing at all. The day after was better with some ranch on the side.

Very tasty and easy. Used boneless, skinless chicken breasts and it worked great. Our only complaint was it seemed a little on the salty side but will definitely make again.

These were wonderful! I used boneless chicken breasts cut in halves and baked them for about...35 minutes, I think (I know it was less than 45). I also seasoned the chicken before dipping them in butter and rolling them in the potato buds and cheese. They came out so good!

Only gave it a 3 because it truly lacks spices. This is a great base idea with lots of room for tweaking.

Great tasting. I used skinless, boneless chicken thighs and the only thing I would change is "turn them over half way through baking" then I think they will be crispy on both sides. Will try that next time. Thanks

Great recipe but I found it a little too salty for my taste. I will try garlic powder next time instead of garlic salt. I also sprinkled a little paprika on top as suggested in another review.
