The filling was delicious! I didn't have any water chestnuts, so I chopped up 1/4 cup of celery instead. I also added about 2 TBSP of chopped green onions. The reason that I rated it as a 3 was because the wonton wrappers tasted floury. I don't know whether it was the type of wonton wrappers that I used or what. Next time, I think that I will fry them. Too bad, because I liked the fact that they were so healthy!

This is my first time cooking w/wonton wrappers, they were good! Fairly simple to make, but wrapping the wontons was a little tedious. I didn't use water chestnuts or carrots. Instead I used garlic scallions and leeks in the mix since that's what I had. I used a food processor to mince the chicken and that worked great.

perfectly crunchy.....the only thing is that it takes a LONG time to prepare....but maybe I'm just slow. :)

My boyfriend and I LOVED these. It was my first time attemptin wontons and they were very easy, just somewhat tedious. I thought the chicken could use more flavor so I put more soy sauce, but it was a little too salty. Next time Ill use more ginger and maybe a little sugar. I tried baking some of them and frying some of them too. The ones that I fried were deeeeelicious. I just put enough oil in a pan to cover half of thw wontons, then flipped them. Frying them takes a lot less time, just be carfeul not to burn because they cook fast!! Then we dipped them in sweet and sour sauce left over from chinese food. Yummmy!

These were really good. I was worried they wouldn't get crispy enough but there was no problem with that. I think next time I will use ground chicken to make things easier. I made an oriental dipping sauce from this site and it went great with it. Thanks!

These were really good. The flavor needed a little kicking up, so I added a little more soy sauce and some chinese five spice, but just a pinch. They were great, though!
