I found these to be extremely bland and pretty dry....maybe I was doing something wrong, but I went over the recipe after being disappointed with how they turned out and I had followed it exactly. Not sure what went wrong.

Flavor was okay. However, the wonton wasn't crispy. It was actually chewy. Always fry a wonton. That's the only way to improve this recipe.

All my guests loved this recipe! I served it in a margarita glass and in the middle put a shot glass with general tzo sauce! Not one was left!

Instead of water chestnuts I finely chopped peanuts. Oh sooo good!!! Will definitely make again.

The filling was delicious! I didn't have any water chestnuts, so I chopped up 1/4 cup of celery instead. I also added about 2 TBSP of chopped green onions. The reason that I rated it as a 3 was because the wonton wrappers tasted floury. I don't know whether it was the type of wonton wrappers that I used or what. Next time, I think that I will fry them. Too bad, because I liked the fact that they were so healthy!

This is my first time cooking w/wonton wrappers, they were good! Fairly simple to make, but wrapping the wontons was a little tedious. I didn't use water chestnuts or carrots. Instead I used garlic scallions and leeks in the mix since that's what I had. I used a food processor to mince the chicken and that worked great.
