My husband liked this casserole a lot, but I found it to be just okay. It's a nice hearty winter dish, and easy enough to throw together at the end of the day, but a bit bland in my opinion. Without the feta cheese, it would have been awful, so don't skip that ingredient, it makes the dish. I'll make it again, but only if my husband requests it.

Even though I changed it up this recipe deserves 5 stars! I left out the zucchini, used a can of tomato sauce. I cooked the ground beef with the onion, green pepper and fresh garlic and I used mozzarella cheese instead of feta. It was delicious!

Interesting casserole and great way to use up leftover feta. Next time I will add minced garlic to the sauteed veggies.

This is a simple but good recipe that's easy to pull together. I used instant mashed potatoes (baked for 20 min before adding everything else on top), mixed veggies instead of zucchini and spaghetti sauce instead of the puree. Not bad for a casserole!

My husband and I loved this! I did everything the recipe said, but heated the potatoes for 30 mins. I highly recommend using feta cheese, it made the dish. I wish I would have used more of the crescents and covered the dish more with them. I ended up throwing the leftover crescents on a pan and cooked with the dish.

This recipe is absolutely amazing! Like others, I followed a few different reviewer's advice by using instant garlic mashed potatoes then brushing olive oil on top of the potatoes before baking it for 30mins. I think the garlic potatoes added alittle more flavor to this very wonderful recipe. I didn't have feta cheese on hand so I just used what I had in the'fridge.

well...i did my own modifications to this recipe, i put in more veggies, what i had on hand, and did not do the crust top. it tasted like spaghetti over mashed potato's. it did have a nice flavor, but the consistency was not my favorite. i will say, my friends enjoyed the leftovers as a late night snack!

I loved this recipe. It was yummy, comforting, and filling. My family loved it and we have some picky eaters. I left out the bell peppers. I also used spaghetti sauce instead of tomato puree. I will definitely make this again.

Tasty! I made it with cheddar cheese since that is what we had available. It looks great when it is done.

I stumbled across this recipe because I wanted to make something with ground beef and Crescent roll dough and other ingredients I had on hand. I had to substitue frozen spinach for the zucchini (seemed fitting with the feta cheese) omitted the green peppers and used italian spice blend instead of just oregano. Also added about a cup of cooked white rice to the meat mixture because I wanted to use my leftovers from the fridge. I spread it all into a 9x13 baking dish and used the all 8 crescent triangles. OMG-it was soooooo good. On my daughter's suggestion, next time I might top it with phyllo dough for a more authentic Greek feeling.
