We loved this! It had just the right amount of hotness-not too much for the kids to handle. Of course, I think it depends on how much you actually sprinkle on whatever you're using it on too! Great recipe, using all of the basics I already had in the cupboard-thank you!

I made this exactly as stated, and I thought it was boring. The oregano and thyme were over powering and I was disappointed after all the great reveiws. I will try something different when I want to use a creole seasoning again. note: I used this to season grilled orange roughy fillets

I usually use this to replace cajun seasoning or in conjuction with it. It always works.

This is a great recipe! I use half the amount of salt that it calls for. We use it as a seasoning for tons of foods!

Very good and thanks to other reviewers for suggesting this mix as a holiday gift. My bride has never enjoyed any of the store bought Creole mixes, but loved this combination. Very well done!

Great flavor. I cut the peppers in half and cut one tablespoon of the paprika to suit my family's palate. It was the perfect amount of heat for us.

Didn't have white pepper, doubled the black pepper. Used on ground turkey. Ground turkey, bread crumbs, and creole seasoning blend made great turkey burgers.

Awesome! Used this in "Bubba's Jambalaya" on this site. Soooooo good! Much MUCH better than store-bought as you can control the salt content. I put in only about 2/3 of what is called for so, depending on how I'm going to use it, it still leaves room for addl. salt if needed, but doesn't overdo it in recipes that are already really high in sodium. Love it! Thanks Josyln!

I expected this to be a little spicier than it was, that's the reason for 4 stars. Easy to put together, and had a nice mild flavor will definatly make again adding a little more hot to it. Thanks.
