I made these for a bbq a couple months ago and since then, everyone has been asking for them for every bbq. its summertime and i've been avoiding the oven but i baked them the night before, fridged them as is and then cut and stuffed them the next day. They were still fantastic and my cousin-in-law ate 7!!! I sub shredded cheese for paprika and i also toss a layer of the cheese in the empty shell before i stuff it for a cheesy surprise. Keep it simple!

Excellent! I baked the potatoes one day, put them in the fridge, and then made the filling the next day. They turned out wonderful! I added cheddar cheese and onions for extra flavor.

We loved these. I also added shredded cheddar cheese but you could probably add anything you like on your baked potatoe. More work but worth the effort.

My family loved them! I did add some shredded chedder cheese but I think they would have been just as good regardless of that. Thanks for the great recipe.

I have nothing to add to the other reviews (I also added shredded cheddar and chopped green onions) except that my dad, who is a baked potato man, absolutely ADORED these. So did my brother and I, and we do not usually like baked potatoes much.

Easy to make, and taste great. My kids loved them and wanted seconds. Needs some kind of seasoning, but I can't figure out what yet.

I have a house full of teen age boys so I needed something that would go far and re-heat nicely. I cooked many potatoes, amending the recipe to fit the number of potatoes, and it was a huge hit. I did add cheddar cheese. I cooked enough that they were stored in the fridge and re-heated as the boys wanted more. (just throw them in the microwave to re-heat) Perfect! They are asked for over and over.

I chose this recipe specifically because it did not call for bacon or cheddar. To me, that's a loaded potato. I was skeptical about the cream cheese (not the cream cheese itself, but the amount.) When I added it to my potatoes, I actually took some of it back out again, and then after realizing that there was nothing that I could do with it besides throw it away, I put it back in. I even tasted it before I baked it and thought the cream cheese was overwhelming. Well, to my surprise, these puppies came out of the oven tasting nothing like cream cheese! It added great texture without adding a funky flavor! Nicely done, Linda! Five stars for you!

much better than plain twice baked potatoes! I also added garlic. You could add cheddar, bacon or chives but I thought it was great without.

I made this a few nights ago, and whoooo I was shocked! Not only was my boyfriend eating the mixture before I put it back into the potatoes, but he tried to eat half of mine! Lets just say that I will definitely be making this one again!

I made these to go with the Potato Salmon Patties recipe from this site. This was my first time making twice baked potatoes and I will definitely be making them again for how easy they were. Less time consuming than mashed potatoes but a similar effect. I baked the potatoes in the microwave which worked just fine. Added garlic, salt and black pepper but still felt these could be improved with more seasoning. I will probably add some chive or green onion next time.
