Super-easy recipe, didn't modify a thing, but did cut the recipe in half for just 2 people. Very few ingredients make it something easy to make on the fly. The dijon mustard + lemon juice are the keys to making it fantastic. I boiled up some penne pasta while it was baking, and it made a fantastic meal!

Nice dish. Sauteed 3 garlic cloves before adding the cream. For a healthier version, used half and half, olive oil instead of butter and less cheese. The sauce was too thick, so i added a bit of skim milk. Sprinkled with parsley before serving. Thank u!

This was okay. The problem I think I had was I bought a shrimp tray instead of the real thing. I cheaped out because the shrimp was real expensive. Next Time I will make sure I get real shrimp.

This is a quick restaurant quality dinner. I didn't use as much pesto as it called for. Just personal pref.

OMG This is very very good. My thighs are still laughing as they expand from all the calories. It was worth it to make it as it, whipping cream and all. I did add a bit more parmesan, but otherwise followed recipe. I might try a lower fat version next time, but not sure. It did appear runny at first when I poured it over the noodles, but it thickened as it cooled. My 2.5 year old LOVED this. I think next time I would serve as a side dish with steak or something because it is so rich. This is a special dinner meal, not an every night meal unless you crave bigger pants!

Meh. Pretty bland. Maybe a different/better brand of pesto would make a difference? Had to add cornstarch to thicken the sauce. Won't make again.

We liked this recipe. I thought the parmesan cheese was a little too much. I will reduce that next time I make this.

My dad LOVED this, said it was one of his favorites. I decided to make it one day when I had a can of pesto and didn't know what else to do with it. I used half and half, and I used shredded chicken rather than shrimp, and canned pesto... delicious! :) I'll be making it again

this was pretty good! i made some modifications based on other reviews and i think it made the dish much better for our palette. I halved the butter, cream( we used half & half) and the cheese because i wanted a stronger pesto flavor. If you use all of the cheese when you half any of the other stuff its too goopy and you'll have to add more cream. i sauteed up some asparagus and red bell peppers with some garlic and olive oil for about 10 minutes, tossed that mix into the sauce and used the same pan to saute the shrimp with some garlic, olive oil and threw on a handful of chopped scallions and some black pepper. once heated through, i tossed them into the sauce and let it all simmer for about 5 minutes while the pasta finished. We used linguini AND tortelini to make it fun. Overall this was a great recipe, thanks!

Very delicious!!! I used Penne Pasta (that's all I had on hand), half the amount of Fat Free Half and Half instead of whole cream, margarine instead of butter, and crab meat instead of shrimp. It turned out really awesome! Super creamy (despite my cut of cream) and delicious.

One of the best recipes that I have found on this site. Really easy to make and very tasty. We bought fresh pink key west shrimp and I think that made all of the difference. It did take a little more time to peel and de-vein the shrimp though. We also used half & half instead of heavy cream it was still delicious.

Great! I omited the butter since my pesto has a lot of olive oil already in it. I also used half the parmesan for the same reason. One of the best ways to use pesto if you're tired of eating it plain!

I followed the recipe exactly with the exception of buying frozen (thawed) already cooked shrimp. This was absolutely delicious - right up there with the Carrabbas and Olive Gardens of the world. My fiance requested it be added to the "rotation" :)
