This was very good! I didn't have fresh peaches on hand so I used to cans of sliced peaches and I used instant pudding instead of the cook and serve kind. It turned out great! Everyone loved it. Will definitely make again.

This is wonderful! I don't generally like cream cheese desserts, but (despite the generous amount) it's very understated in this recipe. The tartness of the peach is offset by the sweetness of the vanilla pudding and the result is a well-rounded delicious dessert. I don't really trust myself around it. :) Great recipe!

spectacular! Needs no ice cream or whipped cream for topping. this is very rich, so watch the portion size

I loved the flavor of this dessert but gave it 3 stars because it was kind of ugly AND it definitely wasn't creamy, in the way I expected. It was very dense and heavy and tasted like cheesecake. Again, excellent flavor, but didn't look attractive and wasn't "creamy."

Mine turned out rubbery. I think it would taste better warm, not chilled.

Oh my goodness, this is good! We've had a lot of peaches this season, and I've tried several recipes. Most got good reviews from my husband...This is good; I really like this...that kind of thing. With this dessert he said, "This is DELICIOUS!!" And, he wanted seconds.

The ingredients seemed so unusual that I just had to try this recipe. It didn't knock my socks off and the texture was a little weird. Still, it's a nice way to use up our bounty of peaches before they turn to mush. Like another reviewer mentioned, it is somewhat similar to kuchen... maybe a cross between kuchen and cobbler. It's a refreshing option when you don't want something overly sweet for dessert. It fit perfectly in my 8x8 glass baking dish and did not bubble over at all. The topping spreads to cover the entire surface of the dessert. Next time, I'll just pour it on and spread it to cover instead of dropping all those spoonfuls on top. I recommend baking this a day ahead and letting it chill overnight.

oh my goodness, this was awesome. i hate making recipes without seeing a picture but the ratings were so good and the ingredients sounded so yummy. i used northern peaches from my own trees and our peaches are medium to small size. i used a good 10-12 of them and i'd actually use more next time I make this which will be this week. the bottom and top of this dish is pretty thick and it tastes like cheesecake. i really want the peaches to be tasted too. i ended up cutting some up and putting them on top of the slices when I served them. it added that extra color and design. I didn't change a thing except add a few more peaches than the recipe called for. a definate keeper, remaker and (of course very fattening)!

SOOOO good...tastes as great as it smells but it bubbled all over my 8x8 pan! Luckily I saw it coming and lined the oven with foil before the mess...the only thing I can think of is that the peaches were VERY ripe and perhaps created extra juice? Lesson learned for next time :)
