PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese, softened
1 (7 ounce) jar
JET-PUFFED Marshmallow Creme
1 1/2 cups
thawed COOL WHIP Whipped Topping
2 (3 ounce) packages
JELL-O Lemon Flavor Gelatin
1 (8 ounce) can
crushed pineapple, undrained
What a refreshing dessert! I made this dish for "something" different to take to a family event. I got a lot of funny looks, but everyone loved it. It wasn't rich, not to sweet, nice and refreshing. My family wants me to make it with strawberries next time.
I thought these were ok. I think that the crushing of the grahm crackers was way to time consuming and hard. The taste was good, but the effort was probably too much.
My husband's family loves jello and I thought I would try a new recipe instead of re-running one of the old standbys. This one was great. It wasn't as pretty as the one in the picture. My marshmallow/ creamcheese layer was sticking to the graham cracker layer a little bit but the frumpy look didn't affect the flavor. (I think that was a prep error on my part and not the fault of the recipe.) It was refreshing and different. I might use that marshmallow cream cheese layer again in another combination. This one's a keeper!
