I personally did not care for this recipe since all I could taste was the mayonnaise. I tried adding more garlic, following the advice of other reviewers, but was still not satisfied. My friends thought it was ok, but nothing to rave over.

There is a local restaurant that makes a house creamy garlic dressing so I decided to use your recipe and my brother said that it tastes exactly like the restaurant. It was very tasty and very easy to make.

I did a half recipe and used two large cloves of garlic. For a full recipe I'd probably use four or five. If it's supposed to be a garlic dressing, then I'm expecting something really garlicky.

My first taste was very bland so I added a lot more garlic. I used 4 cloves. After all the name of this is garlic dressing so it should taste like garlic. After I added the extra garlic this was oh so good!!!!

This recipe is really good. The first batch I made was as directed and I wasn't happy with the colour or consistency of the dressing. My second batch I made without the oil (as suggested by Cathie) and it turned out perfectly! I'll be making this on a regular basis. Many thanks!

This was great! But I did eliminate the oil; I don't think it's needed, and I used Hellmann's mayo. I will be making this frequently.

You should give this dressing a try. I thought this dressing was really good. Even my husband, who is a RANCH freak, liked this. I used a Romaine lettuce blend sald and tossed cashews and little shrimp with green onions with this dressing on it. It was a hit especially by my husband who will only have Ranch Dressing.
