I thought this was pretty good, especially for having used sugar-free pudding and low-fat sour cream. The apples are really nice for the texture. Next time I will probably add nuts, marshmallows and/or bananas. The dressing was a little soupy at first but it set up after some time in the fridge.

This was a nice salad. I added some more fruit (bananas & grapes). I found the dressing to be quite orange-y and wanted to cut it down a little bit, so I folded in some fat-free cool whip. In turn, it was a little bit too much dressing (even though I added extra fruit and didn't make more dressing). When I'm asked to bring a fruit salad again, I'll use this recipe.

This was excellent. I used regular sour cream and regular vanilla pudding, however, so I cannot comment on the original recipe, but everyone who tried this at my dinner club loved it.

I made this recipe for our big annual family reunion. I changed things up a bit, opting to fore-go the sugar free ingredients and used regular French vanilla instant pudding instead. I also just used the juice from the mandarin oranges and added fresh banana, fresh cantalope, fresh strawberries and fresh blueberries. My family couldn't get enough of this fruit salad!! It got rave reviews from EVERYONE!!! thanks for a great recipe to start with!!!

This was wonderful. I made it to share at my parents' Easter gathering to serve with the ham or as a dessert. It turned out wonderful in both contexts. Even my 86-year-old grandmother who won't eat anything healthy (why start now?) had extra helpings. Thanks for the wonderful recipe!

I made this for a ladies luncheon and got rave reviews! Everyone was surprised to know it was made with pudding and sour cream! The tartness of the apples really stood out among the sweetness of the other ingredients. Will make this again, but next time will try adding walnuts to enhance the texture.

I've never used a recipe that doesn't have a rating yet, but pudding??? YES, it is as good as it sounds! I'm definately making this for Thanksgiving!! I will use 1/2 the orange juice concentrate though (cuz' I like to add oranges) and probably add cool whip to make it fluffier (pretty and delish)! As with any fruit salad, just use your favorite fruit..it's all in the sauce anyway (any ooh is it good)Cream cheese is just too thick for this kind of dish, ya know?!! Thanks a million Joan!!
