I was extremely surprised about how well this dish tasted. The flavor was wonderful. I was worried the cream cheese would be overpowering but it was delicious! I think I prefer this recipe to my regular beef lasagna. I took several suggestions from other reviewers and added spinach and sauteed mushrooms, green peppers and onion. I used an italian sausage flavored spaghetti sauce as well. I also used an italian blend of cheese which included romano, mozzarella, and parmesan. This meal was so delighftul. I'll definitely make it again!

This is a great recipe. I followed it exactly and it was very EASY to make and tasted great. You don't need to bother with spinach or other seasonings because it tastes good just as written. I am a beginning cook and I appreciated the straightforward, easy-to-follow directions, as well as the great dish. Thanks!!

I took others' suggestions and added spinach. I also added more sauce, fresh basil, crushed garlic, and red pepper flakes. The red pepper flakes gave the dish a nice bite. I used whole wheat noodles, fat free cream cheese, and reduced fat moz. cheese . . . and it tasted great! I agree with the others, this is a good base recipe.

My 7 an d9 yr olds liked this dish. I tried to sneak in a layer of fresh spinach leaves along with a layer of canned mushrooms sauteed in butter, garlic, onion powder, and balsamic vinegar. The spinach didn't go over so well but personally I couldn't taste it. The cream cheese made the dish rich and my husband went back for seconds. Thanks for a great recipe; we'll see how it is tomorrow after sitting overnight for the flavors to meld.

Good basic recipe, But next time I will change a few things. The Cream Cheese is overpowering, cut that to 4 oz. or just use small curd cottage cheese like traditional Lasagne's. I also added parsley, italian seasoning & pepper to add more flavor!

This was really good. I didn't have the right cheese so I used 1/2 cup parmesan cheese in the filling and colby jack on top. Still was great, even reheated.

EXCELLENT!!! My husband said this was outstanding and one of the best dishes I had ever made. One change...I used 1 pound of ground chicken just because I hate shredding boiled chicken. I added some minced garlic to the chicken, too. Although some reviewers thought it was too much cheese, you will love it if you're like me and "too much cheese" just is not in your vocabulary! Thanks so much for this great recipe!
