I got this from a Taste of Home special Chicken edition many years ago and have made it probably 50 times. It's soooo good. Every time I make it for work, it's gone in less than five minutes. One of my work friends always asked for a giant bowl of this as her birthday present. My sister loves it and was very excited to hear I'd be making it for Father's Day tomorrow. (Hi Sis!) Just be sure to heed the last line about adding the chow mein noodles and peanuts just before serving because they get mushy and gross after about 30 minutes. I always use more of both of those ingredients. I don't know how much; I just add both until it looks like enough. This is so good your jaw will be sore because you won't be able to stop eating it!
