Really easy and delicious! Prepare with 2 package precooked chicken rice & mixed various vegetables for different flavors. Finished top with a layer of cheese and french fried onion rings.

This is too simple to be true. Was looking for something quick and easy to use up leftover chicken and this definitely fit the bill. I was surprised how much I liked it. Kids did too. I just sprinkled paprika over casserole before adding noodles for a little extra flavor.

Very easy and good. I took some of the suggestions and added a can of mushroom soup and cut the sour cream to 1 cup. I also added chopped broccoli. I used Panko bread crumbs on the top and they worked well. Will definitely make again.

I thought it was OK. My family did not like the sour cream taste and I found it to be a very sticky consistency. Probably won't make it again. Thanks anyway.

I ended up not making this recipe at all, sort of, but I'm rating it high for the inspiration. I live in Peru, and there aren't flavored rice mixes available here, so I made regular rice in my rice cooker with garlic and chicken bouillon cubes. I only had 1 cup of sour cream, but I did have turkey gravy mix.. so I made a cup of turkey gravy and mixed that with the sour cream. I wanted to make it a one dish meal, so I stirred in some cooked peas and carrots. I also didn't have chow mein noodles, but I did have french fried string potatoes that I put on top. I was really surprised when my kids loved it! Thanks for giving me a great basic recipe to work with. :)

This is pretty good! I tried it because it is so simple. I made it exactly as the recipe said; it was a bit dry and needed salt. Next time I added a can of cream of celery soup and it was great! My Mom liked it and my picky husband did too. I asked him what it needed and he said, "Nothing!" Great stuff. Thanks

Thank you, Sarah, for a wonderfull recipe. I made this exactly as you wrote it except that I topped it with French's french-fried onions since we do not like chinese noodles. It was deliciously yummy the first day and doubly delicious when I served it as leftovers. This will be made often in my kitchen, trust me. Thanks again Sarah.

I made a couple of adjustments to this recipe and we loved it! I used french fried onions instead of the chow mein noodles (put on top to brown in the last five minutes of cooking), and I added shredded cheese over the rice/chicken. It was an instant hit with my daughter! Teresa

Super easy and Super yummy! My picky husband liked it too! I did substitute the crunchy noodles for crunchy fried onions (the ones in the can you put over green bean casserole). I am making it again tonight. Delish!!

I made this recipe for our neighbors who just had a baby and reserved a small portion for my wife and I. I was surprised at how simple the recipe was to make, and I was even more surprised at how delicious it was! Great recipe!

I really enjoyed this dish. Easy to make only 4 ingredients but very filling. I pigged out as it was really tasty but then it sat too heavy in my stomach so will definitly make again but will only serve small portions

I made this for by boyfriend and he absolutely loved it! I don't eat meat but it sure tempted me because it smelled so darn good :) The addition of broccoli was a nice touch to add some veggies to the dish. Will be making this one again soon!

My family and I love this recipe! I make it often and even look forward to the leftovers! Sometimes I use leftover chicken or more recently I bought a rotisserie chicken from the store and used that. I shred the chicken rather than cubing it also. Delicious!
