This was soooo delicious!! I made a slight change - because I had the bacon that was already cooked. So, I cooked the bacon in the microwave and used butter instead of the bacon drippings to create the sauce. I will definitely make this one again!! Thank you!!!!

I like cabbage almost as much as I like chocolate (ok, a bit of an exaggeration), so I may not be the best reviewer of a cabbage recipe. I was throwing together dinner before heading out the door, so I baked some salmon with just a few spices and made homemade tartar sauce. I thought a creamy cabbage might go better than the cabbage I usually make. This was good, but did need some addtional spices. I used whole wheat panko bread crumbs, which were good. My husband preferred the fabulous fried cabbage from this site, but this was a nice change.

This was good, but I had to add some spices to it (Mrs. Dash table blend and extra pepper), because it was a bit bland. I used crushed croutons for the topping, that was yummy. I think it was more of a 4.5 for me rather than a 4 or 5. But I would make again with the extra spices. I did use turkey bacon, which could have made it a little more bland. Thanks Alice!
