Oh boy, did this turn out great! Used walnuts instead of pecans and put chocolate chips on the top. Delish!

Great Banana Bread. It was almost like a banana bread pudding. I actually cut a thick slice and topped it with some vanilla bean ice cream and chocolate sauce and served it as a dessert. It was very decadent.

Very flavorful and moist--streusel added to the taste and presentation. Looking forward to making this again soon! Wouldn't change a thing.

Absolutely delicious! I cut the recipe in half to make one loaf, but I guess I could've just kept it since apparently I have a very large bread pan. My sister nearly devoured the whole thing in a day! Will definitely keep this recipe.

YUM! Great, great recipe. This really should be called Banana Crumb Cake, though. Consistancy is more like cake. Having said that, you could serve this for breakfast, brunch or as a dessert as it goes really well with a cup of coffee. I made the recipe as directed in a bundt pan and it came out perfectly. Not your typical banana bread, but this one is a keeper for sure!!

I didn't have a bread pan, so I halved the recipe and baked the batter in a bundt pan. Worked nicely. Then I got a bread pan, filled it about 3/4 and put the rest of the batter in muffin cups. Worked nicely as well.

Well, I read all of the reveiws saying it wasn't moist enough so I added some sour cream and now it is VERY moist. VERY good but almost too moist (if there can be such a thing). I will certainly make again but stick to the recipe sans sour cream.

This is the best banana bread recipe I have found so far! Very moist, very delicious! My 12 y.o. daughter said she didn't like it, she said she LOVES it!

I stopped looking for other Banana Bread recipes after we tried this one. My family loves it! I have made this recipe as-is and it turns out great. To get our favorite version, like others, I usually increase the banana and put the brown sugar, cinnamon, and pecans right into the mix. If I have an extra banana on hand that is less ripe, I cut it up into chunks and add it to the batter. I was out of cream cheese last time I made this and put in 1 cup of sour cream in its place - still turned out great!

I thought this turned out wonderful! I did add just a bit more banana, but it would've been fine without it. I also mixed in the nuts, cinnamon, and brown sugar instead of just having a layer. I will make this again!

I did not love this recipe. I added an extra 1/2 cup mashed banana, and it still did not have enough banana flavor. Also, the layer of cinnamon, brown sugar and pecans was good, but the rest of the bread simply did not have enough spice or flavor. I agree with another "reviewer" who said the Banana Sour Cream Bread on this site is by far the best Banana Bread.

I think this is an amazing recipe, thank you! It was so good! I find that I like to mix in the little crumb-filling stuff though, it spreads the flavours around better.

I baked this in a bundt pan for 40 minutes, that was sprinkled with cinnamon sugar in the bottom, for an added extra crunch. Great recipe, we just loved how moist this cake was.

Pretty good. Not the usual banana bread. It's more like a cake. Especially reminded me of a coffee cake with the cinnamon/pecan/brown sugar in the center. I agree with other reviewers that it might be even better with the middle cinnamon part doubled. It was kinda moist, but not really moist. Maybe next time I'd add some applesauce or sour cream or something to it to make it really moist. Worth making again, but maybe just with a few little changes.

This recipe is amazing! Definitely my favorite banana bread! I love the cinnamon and brown sugar center and the topping - the only thing I'd add to the recipe is a little shredded coconut on top. And the texture of this bread is perfect! I've made a lot of banana bread and this is my favorite by far!!

Yum! I mixed the nuts and brown sugar into the batter instead of just on the top and I used walnuts rather than pecans (forgot to buy pecans, but had walnuts on hand). It came out so good - I think the cream cheese really adds something that makes this extra great! Thanks for sharing!
