This is the best banana bread I've ever tasted. So flavorful and moist just as the recipe reads. Highly recommended!

I just made this today.Very moist . I made one loaf with walnuts and the other with chocolate chips. Both are very good. I did add a little bit of nutmeg and cinnamon to the batter.

This recipe was great! I tweaked it a little by combining some of the previous comments made. I added an extra banana, so overall I use 2 medium bananas. I also added 1 tsp. of cinnamon to the BATTER in addition to using it in the pecan mixture. I make the bread in mini-loaf forms, baking them for 20 minutes. Turns out delicious!

Great Banana Bread!! I cut the recipe down to 10 servings only because I only had 2 very ripe bananas. I did double the recipe for the pecan/brown sugar/cinnimon topping. I swirled it into the mixture and baked it as directed, then topped it with banana liquor. This made an awesome dessert with vanilla ice cream. Easy to put together, I will make thia again and again!

All I have to say on this is... YUM! We all loved this one (even my kids). It's like a cross between banana bread and coffee cake. Very good!

I had planned to make this for a bake sale at my college. I cut up two slices and let my friends try some, and the one kid thought it was so good, he bought the rest of the loaf (approximately 6 inches) for $20! The only thing I did differently was use banana extract instead of vanilla. The flavor was excellent, and I still only used 2 bananas.

This is absolutely the best banana bread recipe ever. The only thing I did different was not putting the pecans, sugar and cinammon in the middle. In my house this bread is gone within 2 days.

This makes amazing banana bread. I actually love to make it into mini muffins which are great for breakfast and lunch boxes. I wouldn't change a thing about this recipe and the only reason it's not getting five stars from me is because I would feel like I'm cheating on my grandmother's banana cake recipe (which is unbelievably good, too). So 4 3/4 stars for this one.

VERY creamy and moist. To make it healthier I subbed 1/4 applesause for 1/2 of the butter, 3/4 wheat flour and 3/4 all-purpose, and REDUCED FAT cream cheese *never bake with fat free cream cheese. I used 3 medium ripe bananas, cut in 1/2 inch pieces. Since the bananas make it heavy be sure to use 3/4 tsp baking soda for it to hold up the crust.

No flavor. I was excited about making this one but my husband and I both felt it lacked flavor.

I absolutely love this recipe! The first time that I attempted to make banana bread I made three batches using different recipes and of all of them, this one was by far the favorite of all my family and friends. I have recieved nothing but compliments and requests for this bread and it is easy to multiply for very large batches; I never make less than two batches at once. This recipe is perfect the way it is, but it is also a great recipe to play with. Sometimes I add mini chocolate chips to the batter and it turns this amazingly moist bread into a dessert.

This is pretty darn good. I followed all the ingredients. The only thing I did do different is the nuts, bsugar and cin I just mixed in, I did not layer. That is just way I roll. It was great. I was looking for something just a little different, put on some butter and you have a great treat, its nice and moist.

Delicious! Per a friend's advice, I doubled the banana. Put half the nut mixture in middle and other half on top. Has more of a coffee-cake appeal than bread, but excellent flavor and moistness! Thanks for a great recipe!

Very good recipe. I liked that is was easy too. I agree with others that this is more cake like than bread like, but that didn't matter to me... still delicious. I like it even better with plain cream cheese spread on a slice. I used walnuts instead of pecans because that is what I had on hand... Will make again for sure.
