Very DELICIOUS!! It was an easy recipe. Taking advise of some other reviews, I did this in a 2 quart casserole dish and it worked out just fine.

These were great and easy to make. I never took the time before to make au grautin potatoes from scratch. I did double the cheese and also used more milk. I substituted part of the milk with cream. Yummy!

Great recipe, the only suggestion I would make would be to use a larger casserole dish than called for in the recipe. My casserole dish overflowed slightly.

THIS IS SO GOOD! A must make- well worth the effort (which is minimal). This is the absolute best cheese sauce. I used shredded sharp cheese and it was delicious. I WILL make it again and again. I only baked it for a little over an hour and put slices of ham between the potato layers. Great meal!

This is a great recipe. My husband and teenage boys really enjoyed it. I will make this again. ( Remember to put your sliced potato's in cold water while you are preparing the cheese sauce so that the potato's don't turn brown. Be sure to drain all water off the potato's and pat dry with paper towel before you put the recipe together) Enjoy.. We did.
