Always wanted to know now my Grandma got her peas like this. I love them. Being a vegetarian I'm always trying to find ways to mix up my veggies. Going to do this one again for sure. I used frozen peas and added what i wanted so i had the right ratio of sauce to peas that i liked.

pretty good... feel like they are missing a little something... maybe cheese ?? nice taste, but i thought they would have a little more zing to them... not sure what to add to them...

This recipe is pretty much what my mom used to make for us. I will make this again and again but the only think I think I will do differently is add less sugar or none at all as I find the peas make it sweet enough. TFTR!

The cream sauce is so wonderful I could practically sit down to a whole bowl of it by itsself! I paired the creamed peas with garlic mashed potatoes and a glorious prime rib. Since I had some extra fresh rosemary I minced up about a teaspoon of it and added it to the peas. Oh! I have no words.
