This soup was great! My husband is not a big soup fan, but he ate 3 bowls. I used chicken breasts instead of whole chicken and it turned out nicely.

This is a delicious soup! I cut back a little on the fat by using fat free evaporated milk and only half the butter, so it was a little thin. Next time I'll try adding some fat free half and half. Thanks Thomas!

An overall VERY good recipe. I used wheat flour and brown rice for a low glycemic meal. Turned out well. I added some fresh garlic to it and increased pepper. What can I say? I like it hot!

The soup was really good, although I thought it could use some extra spices or flavouring, but I haven't decided which ones. Very easy, but time consuming. Also, I used turkey instead of chicken, because my husband doesn't eat chicken, and it still turned out well.

I made this for my husband on Valentines Day for a special dinner (he loves wild rice soup) and it was a hit! Everyone loved it!! I made a few changes to suit our tastes and it was still great! I minced the onion and celery instead of chopping and added 1 cup of minced carrots too. I left out the wine also. I will be making this one again!! Thank you Thomas for the recipe!!!

I loved this recipe! One of the best parts is the smell in the kitchen!! I used boneless chicken instead and it was much faster to make. I also used 2% milk instead of whole milk. VERY GOOD!
