Just made this and I am not sure what the fuss is about. The cheese could not even be tasted. There are way too many calories to make this on a regular basis. It's back to the can!

This will be my third year preparing this recipe. I do not change a thing in the recipe and think it tastes absolutely delicious! Everyone in my family has seconds and this is now a staple dish of mine during the holidays. :)

This is absolutely delicious! I wanted white corn and I could not find frozen so I used vacuum packed cans instead. Otherwise, I prepared this exactly as written. This will be a required dish at all my holiday meals!

This is a good basic recipe but I suggest the following modifications: start by sauteeing some diced onion in butter or olive oil. The onions help offset the blandness of the cream. Then add the remaining ingredients except the corn. Allow the mixture to thicken before adding the corn. Also, after first using frozen corn and finding the resulting dish a bit chewy, I used two cans of vacuum-packed sweet corn.

I thought this was pretty good. I served it at Thanksgiving as a side. Mine came out a little runny, but my son didn't mind as he likes to put it over his mashed potatoes. I liked the idea another reviewer had to use leftovers for corn chowder, as I love chowder.

A-MAY-ZA-ZING!! My hubby and I both loved it! Very easy, very tasty! Even the leftovers taste just as good as hot off the stove. Definately a keeper!

Divine. My 16 year old grandson ate this corn until I thought it would come out of his ears. This is a keeper.

I've made this about 5 times for different holidays and get-togethers. It's really easy and everyone loves it! I prefer my creamed corn to be a bit thicker, so I use just a little bit less heavy cream and add a pinch more cheese.

This was really good and well liked by everyone. I cut back on the sugar a little and next time I will leave it out completely it was sweet enough on it's own. My husband cringed when I said I was making creamed corn he changed his mind when he saw it and had seconds. Thanks!

I didn't have any heavy cream on hand. Instead, I substituted 1/3 cup melted butter and 3/4 cup milk for 1 cup heavy cream. Tasted amazing! Thanks for the recipe.

This was very good. I did have to alter things only because I didnt have all of the ingredients on hand. I did have canned corn (not creamed) but no frozen so I used 2 Cans (drained) and I used 1% milk since that is all that I had on hand. I also added some garlic & onion powder for taste. It was still good but I cannot wait to to try it according to recipe. Thank you for sharing this recipe. I will update my review once I have tried the original recipe.

I used half and half and 1% milk and omitted the parmesan. That just didn't sound good to me. It was very good. So much better than canned creamed corn. Would definitely make again.
