So easy and so good. Takes almost no time to make and taste like you spent all day cooking it.

This is good, but rich. But really you can control how much cream, sugar, etc you put it in. You don't need to follow this recipe exactly. I put in a few handfuls of corn in a pan, some butter, and a little cream and let it get warm. Then I mixed a spoonful of flour and a little bit of milk and poured that in the corn mixture on the stove. Then I added more corn or more cream depending on how thick I wanted it. And I also put in just under a spoonful of sugar. Then I put it in a dish and put parmesan cheese and breadcrumbs over it and let it bake for about 2 minutes. And it's ready! Took me about 10 minutes. Again - you don't need to follow this recipe exactly - it's not the type of recipe that things need to be measured. It's basically cream and corn and you decide the consistency you like it. Good luck!

After reading all the great reviews I was sure I had stumbled on a real winner - I was wrong. This was simply corn in cream sauce. Nothing special and not particularly good. My friend and I tried to figure out why it was so bland - and what it needed to make it great - we just couldn't find anything to help it. So, I added chicken broth, some sage and thyme and tomorrow I'll transform this into what I hope will be a Corn and Chicken Chowder. The only reason I gave it 2 stars instead of 1 is because I think I can salvage it to some other purpose. Sorry, I was totally underwhelmed by this one.

Followed this recipe to the letter and it came out delicious! The Parmesan was subtle enough so that it added richness to the corn (beyond the heavy cream richness!) but wasn't so strong as to turn this into cheesy corn. Made it for Tgiving and it was a hit...for everyone but the lactose intolerant! :) Thanks for a great side dish that was different from corn pudding!

I must have gone wrong somewhere in the recipe because it tasted absolutely awful. But I've checked and rechecked all the ingredients and I measured everything exactly. I've had the delicious, sweet cream corn at Rudy's, and this just did not compare. The black pepper and salt dominated the flavor, and it was not sweet at all. I'm still not sure why mine turned out so awful when everyone else obviously loved it, but I don't think I'll try it again.

So delicious! I was asked to bring a creamed corn dish for Thanksgiving and since I had never even had creamed corn, I was a little hesitant. I followed the recipe exact (for 16 people) and it was a HUGE hit!!!!

I made this for Thanksgiving -- such an impressive addition (everyone thought I had gone all out). But so simple! And my 92 year old grandmother said it was just like the creamed corn her mother used to make -- she asked for the recipe! Just a hint -- you can use half and half in place of the milk and cream since the recipe calls for equal amount of each. Also, watch out for scorching -- I caught mine just in time. Great recipe -- thanks so much for sharing!

Very good! Tastes a bit like Rudy's BBQ cream corn only waaay cheaper. This was easier than the crock pot version (I normally make)and a lot faster cooking with less ingredients to boot. HINT* Run corn under warm water in strainer to defrost fast. I thought without cream cheese it would not taste that great, but figured I would give it a try. To my surprise very good! Thanks for sharing this simple recipe. This is my new favorite for corn =)

Very good. Well received by my family at Thanksgiving. It is a nice change from just your normal corn served with butter. I liked the sweet taste. Will make again.

Amazing!I made this as a side dish for Thanksgiving dinner because many people in my family have a hard time eating corn on the cob. I went the extra mile with all the dishes, but this one in particular made me proud. I got several compliments on it and will be making it again for regular family meals. The only change I made was using a 32 oz. bag of frozen corn, and it was excellent!

I made this for Thanksgiving yesterday. It was the hit of the meal! It was SOOOO good that it will be on our Thanksgiving table every year from now on. I did add just a little bit of corn starch to help things go a little faster, and I may use 1/2 & 1/2 next time to save a few calories, but this stuff is REALLY good. Thanks for the recipe!

This recipe was SOOO delicious! My husband & I both loved it and all of our other guests said it was great! I made this for thanksgiving and was very nervous to try it out, as this was my first Thanksgiving dinner, but it really was the best cream corn I have ever tasted...so much better than canned!

Everyone loved it! It was a "rich" type of vegetable, yet it wasn't too heavy or too sweet. I didn't have heavy cream or whole milk, so I substituted with 2 cups of half and half and it was still wonderful. I'm wondering if it would be a great "cream" sauce of other vegetables like spinach, collard greens, etc.????

I followed the recipe exactly and it turned out to be delicious. I agree that it has way too many calories to make on a regular basis, but I think it is perfect for a special occasion. My husband loved it, and he is not a big fan of cream corn. I will definitely make it again.
