These are wonderful cookies, very easy to make and great with the cookie cutters. I chill them for about 24 hours and they become very easy to work with. Highly recommended!

I loved these cookies. I can't get enough of bakery sugar cookies. These were right up there in taste and appearance. I received many compliments. I have tried to bake cut outs in the past and they always turned out wrong. I was so proud of these cookies. I kept them thick and baked for the full time. I used the sugar cookie frosting submitted by Kathy Brandt on this site. I will definately be making these again.

These were my favorite cookies this year! Even though they ARE sugar cookies, they were not too sweet, and the cream cheese really adds the final touch. They were easy to mix up, and I kept the dough over night in the fridge. Here's a hint for handling the dough once ready to roll it out: I found that when the dough was too cold, it was difficult to handle. I also used a LOT of flour on the counter to roll it out on. This is a must as otherwise, it's a real pain to try to scrape the cuo out shapes off the counter without mangling them. The cookies were great. A little brown on the edges, and for me, the thinner the better. They were a little too soft for me though - anyone have any tips on how to make them crispier?

Great sugar cookies. I added 1/2 cup extra sugar. Make sure you flour your hands and the dough if you are rolling. It is very sticky. Keep the dough you are not working with in the fridge until you need it. Take out of the oven when the bottoms start browning. The top still looks a little uncooked - but finish cooking while they are cooling and make for a super soft cookie.

I tried to follow the recipe, but it didn't work for me. The almond was too over powering, and the dough was WAY too sticky to work with. I'll try again adding a whole egg, a 1/2 cup more flour, and add 1 tsp pf vanilla istead of 1/2 tsp of almond. Also, I'm going to take the advice of the people that said to adjust the temp and cooking time. I'll try 325 degrees for 13 mins.

I followed the recipe exactly, and everyone said these were the best sugar cookies they have ever tasted. The only thing I didn't do is roll them out. Instead I rolled them into balls, pressed them down a tad with a glass and sprinkled them with red decorative sugar. These are the best!

Great sugar cookie recipe! The dough was very easy to roll out and made great cut out cookies. I did add about 1/2 cup more of flour, but other than that didn't change a thing. Definitely chill the dough before rolling it out or it will be too sticky. I rolled mine out on powdered sugar rather than flour to give it a sweeter taste.

I also followed the advice of the most helpful reviewers on here and in the product was delicious! I stored them in an airtight container for about a week or so before now, and they still taste delicious. Soft and full of cream cheese flavor. I paired them with the Sugar Cooking Icing found on the site, as well, and the pairing was great. I will definitely make these again.

I followed the recipe, adding a little more flour. I would highly suggest cutting back on the salt and adding more sugar if you are not using icing. My 10 year old cousin complained that they were "salty." Also, I added a few dashes of cinnamon.

I followed the recipe exactly, and found the dough very easy to work with, as long as you follow the directions and make sure it's chilled. I thought the flavor was average, but my kids couldn't stop eating them.

I am giving this recipie 2 stars because although these cokies taste great, the dough was way too hard to work with, and I dont think the recipie actually make 72 cookies as stated. I tried to make these so I could give them out at christmas, but the cookies were way to crumbley and just fell apart! I will not use this recipie again.

These cookies are good....but the cream cheese you don't really taste to much and I also added more to the recipe. The dough taste like cheesecake but once its a cookie it just a sugar cookie. But I do like that these cookies don't taste sugary. I had no problem rolling it out, I just put the dough in between 2 pieces of parchment paper and rolled.I don't like to use flour because it tends to change the taste of the cookie. This dough does need to be cooled though so just make sure that dough stays cold before rolling each time. But other then this nice recipe.

This was a HUGE hit at our Christmas party. I used very small cookie cutters to make bite sized cookies. I followed the recipe and had no trouble working with the dough or anything. Very tasty. I used a popular sugar cookie icing recipe from this site and it was a great match.
