This was a great recipe for the taste. The cookies were crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. My husband and daughter loved them. The only complaint I have is that they were almost impossible to make into shapes with our cookie cutters because the dough kept sticking to everything and we had even chilled the dough overnight. I probably should have added extra flour as the previous reviews recommended.

I followed the measurements as described by the first reviewer, Cherish except that I used 3 and one fourth cups flour and floured my surface generously. I had a small problem with spreading in my first batch, but since I kept flouring my surface, I didn't have problems with subsequent batches due to the added flour. I would suggest testing one cookie before making a whole batch. Taste was excellent. 8oz cream cheese added a lot. Maybe I will add some lemon extract next time or substitute part all purpose flour with almond flour.

Really good for making cutout cookies and taste pretty good. Only complaint is I changed the serving size to make only 30 cookies, but instead I only had dough for about 17 cookies.

These cookies were awesome. The only change I made was to cut them about 1/4 inch thick rather than 1/8 inch because I like thicker, softer cookies. I iced them with a powdered sugar/milk icing. My kids made these for Valentine's Day and cut the cookies in heart shapes. We tinted the icing a pink color and then sprinkled with colored sprinkles. They tasted so good and did not last very long past Valentine's Day! Thanks!

Easy to make. However, dough was still sticky and soft after chilling overnight. Needed to add more flour to the dough. Tips: I used a mixture of flour and icing sugar when rolling out the dough so that the cookie won't be so floury and have a sweeter taste (since many of you said that the cookies aren't sweet enough). The taste is awesome! Will make this again with more flour added.

Excellent flavour, texture, just a perfect cookie. Tough to roll out straight from the fridge. Didn't notice a difference between the cookies where the dough stayed in the fridge or the dough that was warm from me working w/it. Next time I'm going to try using a glaze on top.

These are the easiest sugar cookies I've ever made. I tend to struggle with the dough of sugar cookies, and then I burn them, but this recipe's dough is so workable. Especially if you let it sit in the refrigerator overnight like suggested. You can roll them and use cut outs, or you can press them. I'm sure you could use molds for it also. I could get very creative with these cookies. Thank you so much for sharing!

This is an average recipe. If you are looking for a good cookie recipe for perfect decorating cookies this is it. The flavor of them just wasn't there for me. I have a different sugar cookie recipe that I have always used and I'll be sticking with that one.

Absolutely marvelous! My whole family loved them and couldnt believe that I baked them, they thought for sure I purchased them at a local bakery. Made them again for Christmas, with my family, great time to spend with each other while frosting them. Great tasting cookies!!!

I don't know what I was expecting with this recipe, but I did not get it. The dough was very difficult to work with and the cookies just didn't have the zip I thought they would have. It wasn't a bad recipe, by any means, but it did fall flat of my expectations.

These were great sugar cookies! I ended up just rolling the dough into balls and baked them that way. They didn't spead out flat like most of the cookies that I bake. I made a powdered sugar frosting to put on top which made them even better. I will be making these again and again because my husband couldn't get enough of them.

A fine, tender sugar cookie recipe, although it did not blow me away. The dough was very soft, so refrigerating it overnight was essential.

Good recipe. I followed the other suggestions and added an extra half cup of flour and found the dough surprisingly easy to work with. I also doubled the cream cheese for the extra flavor and found that the cookies came out well - not overly sweet, but still tasty. Thanks.
