These are so good and easy! I made this recipe with Splenda and you couldn't tell it was sugar-free. I used more vanilla, added 1 egg yolk to cream cheese mixture and brushed the top layer with melted butter and sprinkled with cinnamon/sugar...this recipe is definately a keeper!

This is not easy if you are trying to make these with cold cream cheese and not electric mixer..So either get the cheese to room temp or use a mixer. My arm about fell off. Anyway these were very easy, but extremely rich(and have trans fats). Good, but most likely won't be making again.

This recipe was awesome! I wasn't sure whether I was supposed to eat it hot or cold but it didn't matter, it was great both ways. I took it in to work and everyone loved it and had to have the recipe. I will definitely make these again.

There should be more stars for this recipe. Five stars simply isn't enough. I took these to a reception and I had to print up 30 copies of the recipe to give out to people. They stormed the platter. This ones a keeper.

Ymmm! My hubby keeps asking me to make them again. This time I will cut down on the cream cheese filling to one 8oz. box. I also added raspberry pie filling and it was sooo good. This time I will try with blueberry.

I love anything with cream cheese and cinnamon, and I wasn't disappointed with this recipe. Very good. Next time I think I will try with just half the cream cheese, though.

I have to say I was a bit disappointed with all the great reviews. I'm not sure what it was but I think maybe it was all that butter and I agree too much cream cheese. Way too rich for me. I should of listened to other reviewers. Even my family wasn't crazy about these. Sorry ...

Converts sooo deliciously into a sugar-free treat, using Splenda 'n Smuckers SF strawberry jam. Used egg yolk in cheese mixture and the egg white brushed on top, instead of butter.Hubby thought it was better than Entemann's. Plus, it's so rich, even a small portion is filling! Thanx so much for recipe.

This is such a great recipe my husband just loves this. Another thing that you can do is put some strawberry jelly or jam on top of the cheese mixture. It will taste like strawberry cheese cake. Yum Yum .

I've been making these for years. My hubby loves them -- it's one of his fave desserts. The only thing is that it's "dangerous" for me because I could eat the entire filling even before spreading on the base layer!

I have been looking for this recipe after having it at a festival. I experimented a little with it and used only 3/4 c sugar in the cream cheese layer and then over half of that I spread Swedish Ligonberries. Also I used only a 1/2 stick of "I Can't Believe It's Not Butter" brushed on. This was delicious. I think I prefer just the plain cream cheese filling as it reminds me of a cheese danish. I saved a few pieces for us and sent the remainder to the office with my husband. They loved it.
